So I’m deciding which dog to get. I’ve narrowed it down to these two toy breeds/companion breeds.

    Yorkies and Maltese.

Anyone have experience with either one?

In the UK we eat both of those.

    They are chocolate (candy).

I will never eat one now without hearing the sound of batks and whimpers ?

Doberman owner here. I started out looking for a toy sized breed and ended up with a 65-pound bundle of teeth and muscles. It was her big brown eyes that did it.

Unlike a human female, my doggie really is a NAWALT.

Society asks MGTOWs: Why are you not making more tax-slaves?

So true. I’ve owned, bred and trained Dobies, Bull Terriers, Boxers and Rottweilers. The females are super sweet and loyal. I still miss my Boxer female who passed too soon.

But I want to be able to travel with mine on airplanes and stuff. Can’t do that with anything over 20 pounds. Plus big dogs = eat more = more spending on food. They also poop more at a time, etc. Smaller dogs are more cost-effective and just as dog-like.

Really? Everything I’ve read about dogs shows the males are being more affectionate/loving while females are more independent.

    Aren’t Chihuahua’s very yappy/don’t they bark a lot?

Not so. I’ve owned and trained several terrific male dogs and they are affectionate and loyal but no more so than the bitches who tend to be (slightly) more agreeable to work with.
The thing about females dogs is that they are not exposed to the same media bulls~~~ that brainwashes human females and thus retain their natural sweetness. Back in our evolutionary past human females were as nice as our female dogs but modern society turns them into entitled princesses.

A yorkie is a big dog in a small size under a lot of hair. I don’t know much about maltese.

Unless you’re absolutely dead set on getting a pure bred dog, why not go down to the local animal shelter? Mutts are every bit as much a dog as any breed, and usually have far fewer complications due to inbreeding. So far as I’m concerned temperament matters, not conformation.

Exactly. I’ll go down to the local animal shelter and get myself a Morkie. I found plenty on PetFinder at various shelters/rescues.

    Thanks for the recommendation!

Good for you. Looks like you got yourself a winner. Plus you have the satisfaction of knowing that you rescued a loyal friend. What are going to name him or her?

That’s a generic picture of a Morkie lol- found it on Google. But Yes I will be adopting one soon.

I was thinking of naming him Jingles.
