I despise Pelosi’s views overall, but actually favor immigration.

Why? Historically, the immigrants are the ones with the courage, drive, the pluck — whatever you wish to call it — to come here, vs the sheeple who stay in poor countries. That’s how America got Andrew Carnegie. Is it still true? Well, you have Elon Musk (Tesla/SpaceX founder) and Sergey Brin (Google founder).

More immigrants means MORE jobs and higher economic growth. Get rid of H1B limits and lotteries and take in the BEST tech workers in the world.

Sure, I don’t like the political refugees. I don’t like it when countries like Cuba opened up their prisons and let everyone come to Miami (there were multiple waves; most Cubans are hard-working but we also did get a lot of criminals). And some immigrants don’t assimilate well. I also prefer ‘hispanic’ immigrants over MOST middle eastern immigrants, but that is very contingent on their culture — the Syrians I have met are extremely well educated and self-sufficient, as are the Iranians on net. Same for Indians.

The history of immigration has been one where we say MY ancestors were heroes immigrating a century ago, but the CURRENT, contemporary immigrants are sub-human scum… Rather hypocritical.

At the same time, I think the immigrants should be excluded from most social services for the first 5 or 10 years of paying taxes… And rely upon mutual assistance from people of the same nation/culture/ethnic group as in the days of old… That would discourage more of the BAD immigrants.

I’d also love to DEPORT lots of Americans to foreign countries OR an island somewhere. Let’s start with all the false claimants of disabilities who are found out to be able-bodied after all… haha

As for DACA, if they’re self-sufficient and integrated, let ’em stay… But at the same time, I don’t think immigration should be FAMILY based, it should be merit-based OR if someone else agrees to pay for ALL costs of social services for anyone they sponsor. The guy you sponsor goes on welfare? Deducts from your paycheck. Haha.
