I made the transition from the disappointing entity that is the BC game industry to the health care sector for nursing. I wanted to know if other red pillers were in the same boat and what they were doing in that field and how they felt about it.

I for one made the transition because I was toying with the idea of going into paramedical, corrections, or psychiatric nursing. Then after getting into the gig I planned on using the field as a springboard to perhaps get into something else.

I chose not to go for corrections or paramedic because I have a history of seizures, and going for a job where I would need to drive on a regular basis would be a waste of time. Thankfully its been 4 years since my last seizure, so that’s a good sign

Job prospects look awesome compared to what they use to be for me. But, in the back of my mind I know that it will be a challenge along the way to work with women.

I have already butt heads along the way with a couple t~~~s in a clinical setting as a student, the t~~~ didn’t like my tone, t~~~ said I snapped at her LOL, she threatened to tell her manager on me. Be that as it may, I was extremely diplomatic, However, I digress, perhaps I will elaborate more later.

Even though hospitals and longterm care facilities are naturally conservative places, they are still rampant with gossip and intrigue.

I work with the Fire and Rescue with Fire Dept. Some really great times man. You will see some crazy stuff, but you’ll always have a story to tell. You get used to some things and it’s a great experience to have. So at least from the paramedic standpoint, i say jump in head first and enjoy.

Sadly, you’re correct. Hospital based healthcare has gone to s~~~. By that, I mean to the care of women. I run my own practice, but will only employ males in the clinical setting.

Note the following, from the “Mother” of nursing:

“Women have no sympathy… And my experience of women is almost as large as Europe. And it is so intimate too. Women crave for being loved, not for loving. They scream at you for sympathy all day long, they are incapable of giving you any in return for they cannot remember your affairs long enough to do so.” — Florence Nightingale.

When women lead, destruction is the destination. -- Me.

I work in health care as a monitor technician and currently in nursing school set to graduate in a few months. As soon as I graduate and pass the nclex, I plan on going into dialysis nursing. This will keep me away from most of the drama that is involved in the hospital and be on my own for the most part.

If it has tits or tires, you know you're going to have problems.
