    Salutations fellow MGTOWs,

I’m a 26 year old rookie who has finally seen the light of what a single woman can do to your life. Slowly but surely I’ll adopt the MGTOW standards as one of my own. But now I need some good advice as to where to start. This might be a reach so I’d figure why not here. I’m from The Bahamas (born and raised) who has a degree in Electrical with Renewable Energy Systems. Sad to say that the job market here is exceptionally low and finding a job is almost near to impossible even with qualifications. There’s always that saying of “it’s who you know” that pretty much kills my hopes and dreams. I have a great hobby of being a disc jockey, I work hard at it and I take a lot of pride in it. Sometimes I take on events that gives me very little recognition, but I do it solely to get paid. People have been asking me why I don’t try out for the radio, but radio stations that I would prefer to be a part of won’t hire me (probably was never interested anyway). Now I’m getting older and still have nothing to build on and close to broke (bad business ideas). So the main question would be, how do I go about making a start on a new career/how with such limited resources can I make a better income (currently unemployed for about 3 years after graduation)? I feel as though any advice coming from here would be as golden as the gold in Fort Knox. I know the economic structure in our country may be different from the U.S. because it is more of a tax free country (almost) so anything to start off will be a good one. Thanks for taking the time out and hope to hear all the great answers. I’ll give full credit to the individual/s that help me become a success, it’s only fair and right.

    Have a good one.

    Syrus.

P.S. The beers down here are much cooler.

Welcome Syrus. MGTOW is more a realization than anything else. We are not a movement. Rather, we grow to acknowledge our own innate sense of self and manhood. My only advice at this point is to always listen to your gut. I’ve betrayed my own instincts enough to know I’ve been more times than not my own worse enemy. If you start from that vantage point, you will find everything else will come to you. Glad you’ve found this forum. It’s a truly unique group of male bonding and expression.

    Welcome Syrus,
At 64 I’m on the other end of the scale from you so would have no idea what young men face in the job market today but Welcome anyway.

    don’t get married
spend as little money on women as possible

MGTOW is not a movement, it is a way of life.

Keep looking for job opportunities. You might get a work visa and work abroad if there are limited jobs in your area. When you do get a job: start a retirement account. You can start out with $50 a month. If you have a bank account, you can set up an automatic debit situation with your retirement account—that way you can save up for retirement without thinking about it. Imagine how much money you’ll have when you’re 56 years old. You’ll be a boss!

I saw that I could put an end to your outrages by pronouncing a single word in my mind. I pronounced it. The word was ‘No.’" (Atlas Shrugged)

    welcome brother-man !
i once bought a used floor waxing machine and some basic supplies,
put a small add in local paper advertising “free estimates for all your floor-care needs ”
the phone started ringing and i would show up on time,
start with a high quote and settle for a bit less.
what i didn’t know how to do i quickly researched..
built a route that provided good income with ability to work my schedule.
took a week-end job for a pay check i could declare taxes on..
saved a lot of money not going to bars ..
hope that helps to inspire you !
    good luck !

    Welcome Syrus!

I feel as though any advice coming from here would be as golden as the gold in Fort Knox.

Advice, don’t believe the US government or anything their Federal Reserve system administrators say. I don’t think there is any gold in Fort Knox. They’ve stolen it long ago. The knowledge you find here is mental gold, and much more sound and real than false digits on paper. Welcome again brother, you’ve found solidarity amongst like minds! Peace.
