Nothing is less MGTOW than giving up one’s sovereignty totally and completely as one does when joining any military. These guys make me sick to my stomach on so many levels.
You just dont get it. Sure, there are 85% white knights in the service, more than that even, but none of the guys I was ever tight with were. We knew it was a game and enjoyed it. Does having to pay your internet or car insurance bill stop you from using the internet or your car? At 20 years old, coming from my home town, there were almost no prospects other than a lousy job and being stuck with a kid or two and a wife who would hate me in 5 years. Did it matter if I could walk through a college degree with my eyes closed, if I wasnt able to afford to pay for a semesters worth of books without burying myself in a student loan with interest? You want to talk about giving up one’s sovereignty, how about student loans with interest till your 47?
I got to run all around the world and see s~~~ I could never see and do as a civilian. Sure I had to trade something for it, but I thought it was worth it at the time and it was. I cant tell you how many people I know wouldn’t have ever gotten their s~~~ together and done things to make themselves happy and their lives better without that kick in the ass. Anyone who isn’t smart enough to see it for what it really is doesn’t deserve to. I was loyal to the guys immediately watching my back and they to me, anything outside of that, all bets were off and we knew it.
You are under the impression that every guy in believes everything that they are told. I knew it was bulls~~~ after the 3rd day. They also gave me a rifle and a bunch of other equipment I always wanted to use but couldnt and taught me how to use them proficiently. They payed me on time every time and fed and clothed me in return for it. It was a deal with the devil and I knew it before I walked into the recruiting office. I got exactly what I wanted out of it, and if I had gotten myself killed, I would have had my own decision to blame, but I didn’t, so for me it was 100% worth the risk.
I did my time, got out and make a nice 6 figures a year now working for a private contractor invading other countries and I don’t lose a minute of sleep over it. I’d have a lot more sympathy for your posts if you actually went in and did it and didn’t like it for whatever reason, (plenty of guys don’t) but you didn’t, which makes you an observer sitting safe and smug at home.
There hasn’t been a draft in this country in 40+ years, if we were talking about a bunch of guys doing the bidding of corporate powers at the threat of imprisonment, that would be different. They can lie about whatever they want to justify it, as long as they pay me, what do I care? They can sell those lies to whoever they want. Its my choice to be involved and the money is good. 90% of our economy is based on lies. How moral do you think any big business or industry is?
You are hitching your political views to MGTOW, and its apples and oranges. Get as sick as you want over it, go march around with a sign and protest if it makes you feel better. You were never there, so you really don’t know what you are talking about.
