I really don’t understand why people get married.  There is just no percentage in it.  Bad risk, bad return, bad odds.

Wives tend to live longer than most husbands.

Do you have to wonder why?

There’s additional stress placed on a man in being the provider. There’s disappointment in knowing you’re stuck with said person for God knows how long doing the same s~~~ year in and year out.

You’ve lost a valuable peace of mind that you’ll never be able to get back. Because the only way to break free is if someone initiates a divorce; there’s a thread on here which talks about how divorce never really ends.

My mom once told me that my grandparents would argue everyday, and they were married for over 60 years. They were just too fearful of divorce I guess, and in those times I believe most people stuck it out regardless of the climate.

Imagine being with someone for over 60 years where you’re fussing and fighting daily?

Sheesh.

Also, if you’re talking to a chick and she insists on you going to a wedding with her don’t fall for it.
