In my work we always work in pairs. Today my teammate said he won’t be very fun at work because “he had a serious talk with his wife today” and had a lot on his mind.

If one of them had cancer he’d have said something. He has no filter. What else could it be?

My guess is that it was the I’m not happy talk…

He was the most happily married man, he even told me she could never leave him because of X,Y,and Z.

Yep. It always happens. I hope I’m wrong, but you all are thinking the same thing I’m thinking. We are right.

    Maybe condolences beforehand is appropriate…..

My guess, too. It’s never easy when you realize your reality is an illusion. Hope he’s wise enough to give the c~~~ a good punt if that’s the case.

He won’t, he will be destroyed because he is so Blue Pill.

My only wish is that some other man out there reads this and doesn’t marry.

I am guessing it too be one of two conversations sir…A) I have being seeing so and so… B) I am not happy anymore, I think we need to take some time apart…

Neither one being good, I am guessing this marriage is circling the drain, and you are right on in guessing so, damn sir, I still remember that talk with my x-wife, it was exactly the second…Not happy anymore, I need to take some time apart…Three months apart and…Divorce papers arrived by sheriff’s deputy while I was surrounded by co-workers smoking a cigarette at lunch break, hit me like a f~~~ing ton of bricks man…Couldn’t even catch my breath, I was like what do you mean Dissolution of Marriage?? He looked at me and said “Come on, You didn’t know?” I replied with “I don’t even know what this means sir…” He says, it means she is divorcing you…” Ugh…Like a f~~~ing knife right in the chest, right there in front of everyone…

Men are at a time when panning for gold in a urinal has a higher probability of success than finding a faithful and loving woman, it is time to go your own way.....

If only there were no “no fault divorce”
She breaks the vows and she leaves = she gets nothing.

OR if no fault cannot be gotten rid of:
She should be allowed to take from the marriage exactly what she brought in and has been bringing in.
My guess is that he has been busting his f~~~ing ass for her.

The most important part is what Jan said, that this keeps a man from falling for the marriage trap.

"It seems like there's times a body gets struck down so low, there ain't a power on earth that can ever bring him up again. Seems like something inside dies so he don't even want to get up again. But he does."

There is something like that called a prenuptial agreement. While it is possible to get one made after marriage, it’s easiest to do it while engaged. You can say who owns what and list valid reasons for divorce, with some exceptions. For example, the man can say he gets to keep the house, car, clothes, business, dog and his own back account that the wife doesn’t have access to if a divorce happens. I’m pretty sure you have to give her something but you can really limit it beforehand.

It’s best to not get married at all but a prenup is a must if you have to get married to boost your reputation or maintain your family’s respect and happiness or whatever.

    Jan,

I think she pulled “the talk” on him.

That is because you are almost certainly correct.

A MGTOW is a man who is not a woman's bitch!
