I think PUAs and other members of the manosphere have things reversed. The studies I’ve seen and the science as I’ve read it indicates it is men that value commitment and companionship, and also easily fall in love but always remember their loves. It is women that can coldly jump in and out, and completely don’t care about the man that she drops.

Men want to think women are emotional and that men can just go around pump and dumping. But it pretty much never works. All the PUA gurus, they all catch feelz and wind up married, apologizing for their “womanizing” ways, which were mostly creative writing to begin with.

The only real way to not develop feelings is to ghost. No matter how hard you think you are, women are better equipped to chip away at you than you think you are. Men think they are playing women, but women are controlling these interactions every step of the way.

I’m colder than most, but I know even I can easily eventually fall prey. Women even know specifically how to get at me, every woman I meet sucks up to me, tells me how great I am, and acts submissive.
