Well, the c~~~s have done it. F~~~ing f~~s. IMDB has deleted the message boards for good. All those wonderful posts from fellow film fans dating back to as far as 2004 for me.

Why they thought f~~~ing over the very people who made that website what it is was a great idea, I have no idea.

F~~~ you IMDB. Won’t be visiting your site again. All those years spent adding to movie trivia and contributing.

Sad to see another cool thing gone.

Nice way to treat everyone who makes that website what is it.

Well, I cannot say I am surprised. With the increased demand for ‘safe spaces,’ any place that might post a conflicting opinion or possibly even the truth is threatening.

Now if the comment section was an echo chamber of the most victimized segment, it would have been lauded as a raving success of equality and fairness.

IMDB gets 1/5 stars….

Nah man, theres ‘trolls’ wherever you go. Youtube, F~~book etc. The interesting, genuine posts far outweighed any troll bulls~~~. They did this because some top dogs in the industry were bitching about criticism of their precious movies and IMDB chose money over the community.

This sounds like same feeling I went through when I lost my connection to AU and NZ message boards around 2003-04. I lost lots of good friends down there and never had any way to contact them again. Wrt movie trivia, I totally agree that it hurts to spill my opinions about old films and then have them swept away. There are times I live for the old films .. and some newer, and I;ve begun keeping a personal journal of my critiques of the movies as I no longer have any place online to post. I recall the film message boards, lively IRC, lots of novel homemade web pages with guestbooks and sometimes I even got up early or stayed up late to visit with friends in Perth. Those days have gone.

Value of IMDB was in message boards and reviews, without thi imdb is just another database of movies. Hope they go down for this and someone at least buys movie reviews which are my filter for movie selection and could care less about opinion from “movie critics”.

F~~~ing Hollywood. I see right through all of it now since awakened, NFG about all the feminism and love thrown into every new movie anyway (Thanks for ruining Ghostbusters, Mad Max and many many others I enjoyed when I was younger). The only thing that intrigues me is looking for all the Illuminati occult symbolism thrown into most movies and t.v series, its like playing wheres Waldo, lol.

Yeh definitely, don’t get me wrong I’m very interested in Illuminati and all things related cause it peaks my curiosity, but don’t f~~~ up Hollywood so bad to ruin all the f~~~ing movies that come out, like wtf, push your agenda but make good f~~~ing movies.
