Another fleshlight review

As some of you already know I recently ordered a fleshlight. Having received it late last week I have now had the time to try it out a couple times and I thought I’d post a brief review.

I got the Mini-lotus, Lady orifice. I also got the fleshlube elements pack, the fresh and clean combo pack, and the sleeve warmer.

Feel: It feels realistic, once you get the amount of lube right (this takes a bit of experimenting, though). You can alter the amount of suction by screwing (pun intended) the bottom lid, as you see fit. I find altering it back and forth as you go gives nice stimulation, but your mileage may vary. Compared to using your hand(s), the fleshlight makes you cum a lot quicker unless you really pace yourself.

Use: I recommend putting it on the sleeve warmer for one full cycle (takes about 6-9 minutes, depending on room temperature), then putting in whatever amount of lube you find appropriate then putting it back on the sleeve warmer for another full cycle (letting the lube run inside first). After that, put some lube on your c~~~ and have at it. Oh, and make sure you use it as soon as the cycle ends, because the fleshlight cools down rather quickly unless you’ve got a high room temperature and/or dry air. In the worst case scenario, just put it back on the sleeve warmer for another cycle. Important: Only use water-based lubricants!

Cleaning: Surprisingly easy to clean; just take it out of its casing and wash it with lukewarm water from both ends – make sure to stick your fingers in and move ’em around a bit so you get everything out. Every few washes you should make use of the disinfectant you get from the same company. Note: the ease of washing probably varies a lot depending on the model you use. Important: Don’t use soap!

Drying: This takes forever, though it does depend on room temperature and humidity (I’d say 6-12 hours). The warmer and drier the air and the greater the air currents, the quicker it dries. I put it on the sleeve warmer after washing to make it dry faster, but even then it takes a long while.

Overall: If you don’t mind the drying time, buy one; you won’t regret it. And, if you have the extra money, get a sleeve warmer, as it makes both pre-warming and post-wash drying a lot simpler. Oh, and I’ve only tried the Mini-lotus, so don’t consider my impressions as directly applicable to any other models (feel free to post your impressions of other models in this thread).

Thanks Jason for the report.

I just got my Vortex sleeve yesterday and my f~~~ing business email interrupted me popping its cherry early this morning. I will say it is a little more interesting than the Pink Lady, but I don’t have any real experience with the Vortex, yet, other than it felt pretty damn good for the 3 minutes I got to spend with it. I’ve even warmed up to the Pink Lady too. I read from one source that there is a break in period which I think I’ve observed with my Pink Lady.

The cleaning is really not that bad though drying time which is very critical sucks. Having two sleeves lets me always have one at the ready. Also, standard isopropyl rubbing alcohol is safe to use as a disinfectant though I always rinse it away with warm water as I do with the “official” product.

I’ve read of people turning the sleeves inside out to facilitate drying. Doing this is not good for the sleeve and will reduce its lifespan.

The Fleshlight is so much better than using your hand and more sanitary too. I’ve lost all desire to hand fap.

There are a lot of variables in choosing a sleeve. Are you circumcised or not? Hung like a horse or a little below average? Researching the best sleeve for your personal situation is my advice.

My pet project now is convincing a masturbation fiend friend that the Fleshlight is better than his hand. There seems to be some resistance to that concept.

I’ve decided Fleshlights are equal to pussy. They only feel almost as good as the real thing yet they have none of the negative attributes. I call that a tie.

They are also a great training aid for experienced and inexperienced men alike. A rough calloused bony hand is really not good for optimizing your rod.

Sleeve warmer is still out of stock as far as I know. I was told by one of their reps it would be back in stock last month.

I have the stamina version.

As far as drying the sleeve, buy a hairdryer and put it on the non-heated setting.

I finally got to gain some experience with my Vortex.

It does give a moderately more intense experience over the Pink Lady. The ridges provide more stimulation so my rod does approve and endorse.

Clean up and dry time are not too bad though the Pink Lady is better in both departments there.

I do find that it’s easier to for me to be physically stimulated with the Vortex whereas the Pink Lady requires more mind power. There’s probably benefit to be gained from using each.

There will be room for each in the stable. I may get the Speed Bump next just to get myself used to more stimulation. I read the Stamina Training Unit insert is just that one rebadged.

Chronic fapping coupled with long periods of time between getting the real thing can lead to problems. Everything from being a one pump chump to a death grip victim who can’t cum at all is possible.

Fleshlight’s greatest value IMHO is keeping your tool in top shape. My nerve sensitivity continues to improve.

Hand fapping was very bad for me. I need to do it quite often, and my hands are quite calloused from working so that’s a bad combo.

For me, using a Fleshlight has been an educational process.

I always awaken before first light. I had an emergency vicious hard tent pole erection and decided to use the Fleshlight. I used to just rub them out. Rubbing out just is not the same anymore.

The Fleshlight and lube spent the night under my electric blanket. I decided to pre-load the “Pink Lady” last night so it was all nice and warm after spending all night with me.

Mistake: Do not attempt to pour your lube in the dark. I felt lube dribbling down the side of the Fleshlight, and I knew trouble was to be had. Upon entry attempt, I found I had not put enough lube into the Pink Lady. My peter did not like this. I removed myself and fumbled for the misplaced lube in the dark.

My inherited cat realizing I was awake worked herself into my bedroom demanding to be fed which spoiled the mood. A demanding cat standing on your back is a boner killer.

I fed the cat and cleaned the Fleshlight lesson learned.

Lesson: Always keep a flashlight handy for your Fleshlight.

This story just illustrates that Fleshlight use is a little more complicated than using one’s hand.

At least the Fleshlight won’t be carping at me for failing to satisfy it.
