I have to vent about this. I work in EMS aviation and one of my medics is a complete f~~~tard.

Keep in mind this guy is not a bad looking guy, good at his job, and all in all, pretty successful. He’s been dating this bitch who hit the wall years ago and has 5 kids with somebody else.

He comes in yesterday and announces that he’s engaged. Everybody gave the congrats except me. I just looked at him and shook my head. He was really offended at my position on the matter. We even argued a little bit.

I really DO NOT get it. This women is not attractive either. He has never been married either.

WHY would anybody walk into that?! I told him “dude she just hit the jackpot”. He didn’t like that.

I don’t know but I wish I could sabatoge it.

Understand the frustration. I used to react like in a similar way:

“Hey, guess what. I’m getting married.”

“WTF? No you’re committing suicide!”

….. and then I realized it doesn’t work. So I adjusted it:

“Hey, guess what. I’m getting married.”

(taking it way over the top): “You’re signing a marriage contract? MAN, CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! You’re PERFECT for it!! Who else is going to keep this ridiculous gong show going??? I’m sure she is that nawalt/unicorn diamond in a mountain of rubble. So don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. They’re just bitter.”

Agree and amplify.

I always congratulate people on their marriages and smile. If you’re going to be MGTOW, you really need to know how to ghost properly. And really, why should it even matter to you? It’s none of your business what other people do with their lives, what they think, what they do.

Are you MGTOW because it’s who you are, or are you MGTOW to seek validation from others? It’s a pretty stupid way to seek validation honestly. Chill out on this website, and in public be like the Bruce Wayne persona.

With that said, I can relate. I decided to start banging a single mother years ago. I decided the run was over and started my plan to move along but I was a dumb f~~~ing idiot who didn’t wrap it up and I trusted her ability to use her birth control correctly…. guess what happened? I am a poster child dumb f~~~. She got pregnant tried to trap me.

I didn’t stay with her. I told her immediately that I will be there for my child and nothing more. Years later I have stuck to my word and I’m still here for my child.

This resonates with me. It made me realize that I preach to people about not getting married/having kids. It made me realize it’s because I want them to think that I’m wiser/cleverer/better/deep thinker/nonconformist to get validation.

I’m going to cut out the preaching and get my head down with my work and stay focused.

My motivation? Honestly I was seeking yours and Phoenix validation.

I didn’t tell him that she was ugly. I pretty much paraphrased the conversation and I did bring up quite a bit of my own experiences as well as others.

My post was simply that. A simple vent about an experience of mine.

If you guys are such experts at ghosting then why would you care about little ol “not doing MGTOW right” me. Why would you bother in any way to engage me in discussion if you truly do not give a s~~~?

Lots of people on here who get mad when others don’t conform to THEIR specific definition of MGTOW. They get visibly upset when they see a post that doesn’t conform to their own thoughts. Why not just skip it and move on?

I agree with this. OP, you’ll have to sit down with him and have a solid convo and explain the situation.

The thing is with severe manginas/simps/blue-pillers I don’t think there are any words that could convince him to not go through with it. Like me, he will have to learn the hard way.

Man, I am SO glad I live alone. I don’t have to deal with this from friends because mine are either A: already married or B: not going to. Of course, My female friend keeps talking about how I would make a good husband. I’ve told her already that I have no intentions of getting married and she accepts it. Her husband just laughs. If there had been MGTOW 30 years earlier, he might have been saved. Fortunately for him, his wife isn’t one of these damnations you constantly see today.
