Yup that is true for Guardians and for Wonder Woman all we know is that it has a woman director who has only directed a handful of things, but the shows she has directed were popular shows.

You talking about Michelle MacLaren? She got the boot because she wanted to make it a period piece/give WW a tiger sidekick. They picked up Patty Jenkins who was originally supposed to direct Thor 2 before she left for “creative differences”.
