Hello all
I just wanted to do the awkward introduction.
I am 31 years old, environmental scientist and currently paying a mortgage.I’ve hovered over mgtow sites/youtube/casts etc for awhile and this is the first site I have joined.
I guess I have always gone my own way, but never knew when I my nature was being manipulated (mostly by women). So why not join a group of like minded individuals, no point in fighting that internal voice that says “this is bulls~~~, and I’ll walk my OWN path”My background is I was born in (Apartheid South Africa) and moved to Australia when I was 5. It was beaten into my head that I was lucky to leave that place and that I should strive to be a good drone of a husband when I grow up (christian upbringing) to provide a wife the best of life.
Its only now that I see how damaging a message like that can be for child who struggles with anxiety/panic disorder and how independent thought was quickly squashed from my fragile mind.
Anyway, long story short, I worked my ass off to get a degree and land a job that can sustain an above average lifestyle. I had a girlfriend, which I loved more than myself, and did the cliche “build a life together” thing for 5 years..but it ended after my panic attacks kept me from work and traveling and general fun things that my ex enjoyed..funny how quick a women will leave you when your down and out..Now I’m in a good situation in life financially, mentally not, but I am working on that.
I built my first car basically in my parents driveway with much help from other enthusiast (they are the men I respect more than any other man because they had nothing to gain from helping me, I guess they just saw a bit of a younger version of themselves and passed on that generosity that they might of had)
So I am on the path of building another car now. Its my passion and its keeping my heart going to be honest. If you read this, thank you for taking the time to see a little of my story.
Say hi or pm any questions.
Welcome! I’m glad you joined our merry band!
I like that car building hobby of yours. I have noticed this about men over the years: They help each other out with no real expectation of reward. Women do the opposite.
Society asks MGTOWs: Why are you not making more tax-slaves?
Welcome. Sorry about your girl friend, yeah, they tend to leave the minute things don’t go their way.
Feminism is a movement where opinions are presented as facts and emotions are presented as evidence.
Happy to have you.
Welcome cheetah84, you are amongst friends and likeminded here. You know were the beer is.
Thanks guys!

Yes I agree, there is a deep rooted bond about helping another brother out. Its how I think we evolved to survive. Its simple math I think, aswell 1 + 1 = 2, so its just easier for men to band together when there is a common objective?

Not yet, its funny as f~~~ though! I wish I had shed right now..I would sacrifice “living” space for “building something kick ass” space haha
Cheetah welcome to the best party on the net. Cheers!
Anonymous29Welcome.
What sort of car m8 ? . . . . rod, racing, other ?I was looking at a 1960 impala coupe..it looked amazing..but it had some issues with rust..the guy left it out for too long in the elements.
I’m in two minds about going old school, bare knuckle or something grand touring like with all the mod cons.. both would make me happy but each have its pros/cons
One of my dream cars is a 1965 buick riviera, but in a resto-mod form. the 425 nailhead is good, but its just not cutting it heavy old car.
You got something on the road? in the works?.
Welcome to MGTOW!
"what a waste of a life, to marry, give up your freedom, just for the hope of not dying alone. Don't get married Son."
