I’ sure somewhere on this site, it’s been brought up, but since I’m too lazy to search the whole site for it, I’m bringing it up here.

I just recently retook up Anime that I used to enjoy back in the day. I’m curious what other MGTOW members like in Anime titles. Mine are below:

I go ahead and watch anime from the 1980s to the early 2000s. Great time frame. Maybe check out things like:

Rurouni Kenshin
Gungrave
Appleseed
Vexille
The Big O
Planetes
Wolf’s Rain

These are just a few that I’ve come across since Toonami came about.

It was a good time period. My oldest was in 1988 and that was Akira which is playing right now. Oh, I did forget Appleseed until you listed it.

I don’t mind anime being gynocentric if done right. In all honesty, I love parts of Sword Art Online for instance. The second half of the first season, not so much though.

Gynocentricism in media doesn’t bother me that much at all.

What I hate is SJW bulls~~~ in media. Which is why I hate most modern western media. It’s full of SJW bulls~~~ that’s going to make any MGTOW vomit.

As for anime, I mainly watch:

Of all the ones mentioned besides mine, the only one from all your lists I ever seen is Appleseed; the rest I never heard of. Then again, the last released anime I watch from the mid 90s and that would of been Ninja Scroll. So I’m not familiar with any modern title.

Right now I’m watching Gunsmith Cats Bulletproof. Yes, I know it has mostly female lead characters, but I think they did it correctly. It’s about gun store owners teaming up with a Chicago cop and some other top cops fighting mobsters and even a Russian terrorist in downtown Chicago. They drive a really cool ’68 Cobra; blue with double white lines going along the body of the car.
