Then, there is western entertain industry whom does not see the value of fantasy. These companies will base the female characters of their fictional series on the worst aspects of women.

Meanwhile, those in Japan know the difference. This is why anime does so well in the western. Unless the anime series outright states it, most anime are not female ‘Mary Sue’ power-trips for women, where by the women in the series can do no wrong and suffer no adversity, while men can do no right and are insulted at every turn.

The new WonderWoman movie is a example of Faust’s above discussion. Ares is the evil villain whereas WonderWoman is the superhero.
