I could be wrong but I think RailGuns are gonna be a game changer.

The tech will get smaller, cheaper and more efficient.

I have read that the Chinks have warships with railguns. Perhaps they do. However, the Chink Navy had to purchase its first inferior Carrier from the Russians.

You and I were talking earlier about electrical generation aboard the Iowas and how they needed extra deck-mounted diesel generators during their 80’s reactivation. From what I’ve read about the power requirements for rail guns, they could provide an excellent reason for surface ships other than carriers to use reactors again.

Its not that they did not have enough power, its that they did not have things like STORAGE for that power.

See, a battery in your car can do about 1000 Amps easy. But then the voltage sags down to about 8V if you do that.

I’m not sure if we have Chinese MGTOW on this site, I hope we do; but that term was used during the Korean War.

We had the “Japs” and the Krauts”, during WW2, the “Ivans” in the cold war, the “Slopes” in Vietnam, then the “Ragheads” during the Gulf Wars.

Keep in mind, it was all propaganda used to turn our minds against whoever the government says is our enemy.

We don’t need propaganda terms to recognize who should or should not like.

But I think “bitches” is still just fine when referring to the “fairer sex”.
