This resonates with me on so many levels. It is, quite accurately, stating exactly why women lose their minds when they are ignored, brushed off, or their advances eschewed by men. They have no other angle to work with. It is not as though they can get you to comply by force (of their own will or course, for this they employ the use of other agencies aimed to force men into compliance, i.e. courts, legal systems, white knights, etc.)

, once they have gained the power they have sought, the display a character of innocence/docileness/helplessness that goes far beyond what naturally exist, in an attempt to prevent men from exposing them for the fraud that they are. The same tactic of deception used to gain power, is the same one used to keep it..
