Now will the rape hysteria of “always believe the accuser” stop?

We have many flavors of errors in thinking about rape brought on by this witch hunt.

It depends upon certain newly formed beliefs pushed by feminists such as “every sexual assault is as horrible as forcible rape” that “rape is a life sentence to PTSD” and the ever popular “rape is worse than murder, you have to live with memories of rape”.

If you believe that time heals wounds then you believe in statute of limitations for some crimes is warranted. In many states only murder had no statute of limitations.

Most states have a statute of limitations on sex crimes including forcible rape. This is changing as more and more states treat rape as worse than murder.

I think this is a good thing. Bad for the accused obviously. But a lot of these accusations will come out to be false, which will serve to take further accusations with skepticism.

Like calling everyone racist bigot sexist homophobes backfired on the left in ’16. Action and reaction.

The worse it gets, the more people come to the conclusion that things are getting out of hand. I’m more than willing to see public figures thrown on the fire. The chickens come home to roost. Let it get worse.
