I can’t understand why these film companies are willing to risk losing hundreds of millions in the name of “equality”.

It doesn’t pay and that’s been proved.

There isn’t even any creativity about it. It’s just hijacking male dominated franchises.

Female dominated productions like ‘bridesmaids’ and ‘pitch perfect’ despite being interminable dross, have proved profitable, so I don’t understand the desire to do this.

I left a baseball game two months ago and I heard the Ghostbuster theme music, I got reminded of my childhood and smiled

As I approached it (through a sea of people) I noticed three women in ghostbuster costumes taking pictures and handing out a flyer hoping I would pay to see the movie

The women were not even good looking, nor friendly

Women see romantic comedies
Men like action

Women didn’t want to see Ghostbusters because it’s not their type of movie
Men didn’t want to see it because it lacked a lot of refinement from the first one (easily spotted by the trailer)
…Not sure who’s idea it was to fund such a failure, but I hope they learned their lesson!
