This is pathetic. And even if the story is based on some truth, think about it this way. I certainly don’t condone physical abuse, but hate that if people overhear a guy yelling, they automatically assume that he must be dishing out punches aswell. Even if Brad did yell at his kids, so f~~~ing what? Parents are human beings aswell and they snap. Fact is, children can be demonic little brats, and it can be taxing on a parent’s sanity to put up with their s~~~ every day. Especially in this day and age, when the old parenting tactics are no longer tolerated. In the old days, you were entitled to put a brat in their place. Now they can disrespect you as much as they like, and you’re not allowed to even raise your voice.

My parents and I have had our dramas, all families do. My mother once called me an obnoxious little prick when I was about seven or eight. It was all because I was refusing to eat my dinner. But I’ve put my mum through a hell of a lot over the years, and chances are, she’d just reached the end of her tether that day. I don’t hold any grudges, and sure as hell wasn’t going to start crying abuse over it. My mum doesn’t hate me, I know that she loves me.

I felt the same way when Alec Baldwin upset the public after calling his daughter a thoughtless little pig. What people kept ignoring was, about a year or so earlier, she’d called him “boring” and said that she didn’t want him to visit her anymore. For a father, that’s devastating to hear. Has it occurred to anyone that that might have been why he finally erupted?
