8 Reasons Having a Dog Is Better than Having a Girlfriend

Plus they’ll never take half your shiit or more.

There is NO wisdom in signing a contract with someone who benefits from breaking it.

Dogs reduce stress and help you lose weight by taking them for walks. Women increase stress and cortisol levels thus reducing overall health. Have had 8 dogs in my lifetime, all great dogs loved every single one of them. In talking to other dog owners about their dogs and experiences, all dogs are like that.

Oh yeah. Dogs love you unconditionally. They don’t try to change you, they like you just the way you are.

Remember that scene in The Mask when Jim Carrey finds himself in jail? When he hears barking, he looks out the prison window and sees that Milo, his Jack Russell, has followed him there. He then stays in the alley and doesn’t leave. There’s also a scene in I Am Legend when Will Smith falls into a trap that the vampires have left and loses consciousness. When he awakes, his dog hasn’t left his side.

Now granted, these are just movies, but that’s how dogs tend to be. They go wherever you go.

To see what is in front of one's nose requires a constant struggle. -Orwell
