MGTOW is not a movement, it is a way of life.
imdb link to the movie (which has turned out to be more of a documentary)

The Idiocracy film has one major flaw in the plot. It projected that each generation was dumber than the last. Though, it showed the technology became more fault tolerate and without need of much maintenance, which would require technology.
That does not make sense. Eventually, technology breaks down. When that happens, if the technology cannot be repair recourse creation and distribution breaks down and the people starve. That is when natural selection and survival of the fittest/most cunning come into play. And the genepool cleans itself out with only the most intelligent and strongest surviving.

Anonymous43just looking at the 200 5th grade children at my former school, 125 were below grade level. These kids had no intellectual curiosity. They just rolled through their day, never questioning how things worked, or wanting to do better on anything. It doesn’t register that their parents don’t speak English and can’t do math and work a s~~~ty job in the meat packing plant that maybe if the kid applies himself, then he won’t be working in the meat packing plant too.
Of the 125 coasting through the day, maybe 50 are behavior problems. These will grow up to be your thugs and badboys the meat cutters, oil change pit guy, the guy who feeds the cattle. The girls will be pregnant as soon as possible, maybe 16. These 40 or 50 are truly f~~~ed. There are kids in 5th grade that are incorrigible thugs, at 12 years old, they know how to steal, prey upon others, lie, cheat and do not care about anything.
Life is hard, harder if you are stupid is so true…I wanted to make a poster of this, but was told not to.
It is these 50 kids that make the teacher’s job harder. I had 8 of them in my class. I spent maybe an hour to ninety minutes a day disciplining these kids. It took time to write them up, time to call another teacher to arrange a detention, time to have the kid call the parents to tell them what he did, then time to get them caught up when they got back. While I’m doing all this, the rest of the class is losing interest, chatting passing notes, wandering the room, anything but on task. Some would wait patiently. Not an effective day of teaching. This is probably what happened to me.
I had to dumb down the lessons, explain things 3x and then some still would have no clue.

That’s it. Idiocracy appears focused on whites. The statistics show that dumbness is common among the hispanic and blacks.
I can confirm, based on my estranged wife being hispanic. Her family were clearly from a jumping up and down people. I never saw them read a book or discuss any ideas other than the dream to immigrate to an America that they don’t realise is collapsing.
One thing the video did not touch on is in the past generations prior to the advance of technology disease and natural selection killed off and maintained a stable population that only the brightest and strongest would survive and those genetics would be passed down to future generations. Of course some people were able to breed and pass there genetics on right before they died so natural selection wasn’t always reliable to remove these people from the gene pool.
With the advance in technology our population began to explode as more resources were available to support an ever increasing population. Diseases were being cured and now we are faced with overpopulation of the planet. Where in the past these same people would have died off eventually now they are able to enjoy the comfort and security of having government watch over them and in fact encourage them to further breed. The larger the population now the more low IQ people you will find. Add to this environmental factors and lack of education and people become even more stupid as time goes on.
So it is only logical to see that these people will increase in numbers faster while those who are smart are refusing to participate in increasing the population because they have a better understanding of what is taking place around them. When society collapses and you no longer have people able to take care of themselves or get the proper medical attention the first people that will die off are the ones that were shown in the video. Nature will eventually take care of all the idiots because society especially one based on a fait currency will fail and there will be no more resources for them to rely on.
I just watched this video on youtube. I’ve seen the movie, too. Yes, we have created a society of non-intellectual slugs that rely on government to provide everything for them. The working class is turning into an endangered species. It’s everywhere across the US. Having just done a cross country road trip I can speak from personal experience. From high school dropouts to college educated morons with degrees in humanities who end up as social workers. What’s going to happen when the financial system collapses and government cuts jobs and programs? Higher crime and more urban blight, that’s what. What a mess it’s becoming.

Though, it showed the technology became more fault tolerate and without need of much maintenance, which would require technology.
@ Faust For Science: Hang on a minute, dude.
Now I don’t mean to come across as a pathetic “hair splitter” here, but there was at least one example of technology which happened to not function properly in that movie.
Remember the one hoover robot in the hospital that kept banging into one wall whilst kept announcing “your floor is now clean…”?Now that was arguably not more fault tolerate and/or without the need of much maintenance, but rather malfunctioned just as equally as the portrayed future society as a whole.
-just saying-
still respecting yer point (+1)
I'd rather die a natual death with a clear MGTOW conscience somewhere off the grid than one within "modern" civilisation with a big stress mark on my forehead and a couple of dozen tubes plugged into my body. Back to the plantation..? Me..? Hey, literally: I won't ever fucking kid myself...YZERLMNTSIC

I meant: “Though, it showed the technology became more fault tolerate and without need of much maintenance, which would require intelligence to build and maintain.”
I am dealing with a lot of s~~~ in my personal life right now. Cut me some slack.
This is my corrected original post on this thread:

Well, with the ever ingreasing influence women have on spending, we are getting convenience and ease of use over any technical development every time.
More and more “intelligent” functionality is added to cameras, phones, cars, TVs, sports gear, robotic lawn mowers and vacuum cleaners etc.
There is little to no need to master or even learn the basic concepts on a subject. Everyone will get “great results from the start”.
Great news for hedonistic (women), bad news for creative and curious (men). In the end, there is suddenly much fewer people (all men?) that can work the manual settings on a camera, properly hook up and set up a home cinema, repair a washing machine, set up a budget calculation etc. People do not even have to learn how to program a VCR any longer!
Surrounded by convenience, the lazy ladies now have had the last challenges removed from their lives, setting them free to fill their days with mind numbing blogging, selfies, face booking, make up, shopping and so on.
