He goes on the internet to sites unrelated to the subject to “spread the word” of this freeing philosophy in his gravy-stained wife beater shirt. He’s free to do this as long as he likes in his dark one-bedroom apartment as there’s no one there that needs his attention. There never is.

The hallow sound of the ticking clock in his silent apartment is his only companion.

He hates it when he has to make his way into public places as he’s then forced to see those who refuse to embrace this manly philosophy. He cringes at the numerous manginas who laugh with their women and swing their arm around their shoulders. He knows their happiness is a front. He knows that the pain of their dying souls must surely be more crushing than his own.

He shrinks, too, at the fathers holding their child in their arms as they walk their family to a restaurant entrance. Don’t they know that only women should hold a child? He shudders in disgust that they should be so brainwashed by the Feminazis as to want to participate in such child care-taking. They look proud, but our MGTOW champion knows that that these men would rather be without their family, even if they don’t.

This evening he makes his way up the street and takes his place in line to order his dinner-for-one. He switches up the fast food joints he orders from daily as to not be seen at the same one every day. It’s not that he really cares what the girls who work there think, he tells himself, as he moves his large belly to the counter. They’re just a bunch of sociopathic gold-diggers who’d only be out for his 1998 Chevy Lumina if he gave them half the chance.

Luckily they give him and his crack-revealing baggy jeans no interest. It’s, he says to himself, because they sense from me a lone wolf spirit, an uncontainable male energy that must find its expression in solitary pursuits, an energy that causes them to never really look him in the eye and seem more focused on what they’re doing than on him.

He grunts as he lifts his completed burger order and makes his way back to his apartment. Blissful silence awaits him there, and a phone message from his mother. He will wait to return the call as he’s grown tired of her asking questions of his social life and annoying him with her saying she’s concerned.

She doesn’t understand that his online community of bitter men IS a social life. He settles in front of the computer, knowing it’s only free men that can eat their meals out of paper bags.

 

Read the forum form comments.  It is a lot of fear of men going their own way.  One poster wrote the following:

Well, I should add a proviso to what I had posted.  I read the thread the post I showed was from, and the individual posting the longer post I showed is probably a woman.  So she is a female tradcon who is scared, and part of her tribe there.  People do have this inane desire to be part of a tribe, and throw everything into it just to belong, and get nothing out of it personally.  And she apparently shows that, as do others who joined in.

When everyone in there doesn’t get what they want, that is the Abilene Paradox at work:

What these idiots never seem to grasp is that MGTOW don’t care. They don’t ever bother to take a look at the “society” they are so worried about. It’s not worth saving.

I believe that site charges people to post there, and is picky.  I am not sure you can get into there.  It may be best to avoid it completely, and just find greater support.

I’m new to this forum and wasn’t really aware of the acronym “MGTOW” until a few months ago.  However, I have to admit that a good deal of it chimed with me.  I don’t see what’s so wrong about it though.  If men choose to opt out, why should anyone else complain about it?  As far as I can tell, there’s nothing illegal about it, it doesn’t violate anyone’s rights, and nobody is hurt by it.

I don’t feel that I owe anything to society.  I’ve been an honest, law-abiding, taxpaying citizen all my life, so there’s nothing I need to apologize for.  I’ve worked for every penny I have, and I’ve not taken a single dime in welfare or charity.  That’s how I can live with myself and go to sleep with a clear conscience every night.  Whatever else anyone might say or think of me is totally meaningless.  I don’t really care, as long as my principles and sense of honor remain intact.  That, to me, is more important than money or companionship, since those are temporary things which can be gained or lost or regained.

They say that “chivalry is dead,” but that’s only because they view the concept from a one-sided point of view.  Chivalry also means having a moral code and a set of principles that many people don’t seem willing to accept.

Ha. Whoever s/he is, I don’t think they’ve ever met a MGTOW in their entire life. I’ve met only a select few in my life, but they were always the cool ones. The ones with money, time to spend at the gym, eccentric/useful hobbies, freedom from the crippling depression that is a wife… ‘Course, good luck convincing a tradcon, male or female, of this.

I’m thinking more support and general fellowship – human beings like all primates are social creatures – just because we GOOW doesn’t mean we don’t enjoy companionship, friendship, etc.
