This one is a rant for everyone who thinks that an AR-15 is an assault rifle. This shooting is making Democrats renew their talks of a ban of assault rifles, well if they want to ban assault rifles, then go right ahead. Because the AR-15 won’t be affected by that because it’s NOT an assault rifle.

The primary difference between an AR-15 style modern sporting rifle and an assault rifle is selective fire – the ability to switch from semi-automatic and fully automatic fire. The AR-15 rifle is a gas powered, semi-automatic rifles which means that one press of the trigger results in one round being fired. The United States military uses weapons like the M-16 and the M4 that both look like an AR-15 but provide both fully automatic fire and three-round burst fire – both of which are not possible with an AR-15.

The AR-15 and the M16/M4 look the same but perform totally different functions.Politicians and the media not only exaggerate the power of the AR-15, they love to tell the public that it has an almost impossible ability to fire rapidly. The “AR” in AR-15 does not stand for Assault rifle in any way. It stands for “ArmaLite Rifle” after the firm that designed the weapon in the 1950s.

So save this article, and pull it back out whenever you hear someone say the stupid line that an AR-15 is an assault rifle….IT IS NOT!!

Doesn’t matter. Your explanation falls on ears filled with concrete. Liberals, Democrats and Progressives only see “scary black gun”.

They need the “Hello Kitty” AR-15 to feel happy.

AR-15 is a good weapon to guard a cartoon drawing contest.

Someone should have had a couple AR’s and a few 1911’s at that nightclub, wouldn’t have been so much bloodshed…

“Assault rifle” is not a technical term. It is a propaganda term. There is no professionally typed class of firearm referred to as an “assault rifle.”

There are rifles. Long rifles. Sniper rifles. Automatic rifles. Carbines. Automatic machine guns. Sub-machine guns. Shotguns. Semi-automatic pistols. Automatic pistols. And revolvers. There are no “assault rifles”.

This “assault rifle” term is vague term which was created as a “catch all”, for all guns, to ban us, the people, from having guns, with guns being the means to defend ourselves from the genocentric tyranny. As it presently stands, we still have guns. And that thought in the back of their heads is what keeps them from walking all over us in the open.

To screw us over, they have to do so individually. And they still have to go through the courts. It is a battle with the odds in their favor, but still not a guaranteed victory.

Those of us that are quiet and keep to ourselves are more trouble than it is worth to go through the courts to steal our wealth and imprison us for life simply because we exist.

If they try to be open about the matter, they still risk a shooting war. And they know it.

If we allow them to take our guns. The next thing they will be taking is us. Rounding us up to be taken to labor camps to be worked to death as slaves to the state.

This is what happens, when only the bad guys have guns.

The ONLY gun control that will work is when you ban firearms from everybody. Not just the civilians, but the police, security companies and the military. Until the day there is not ONE firearm in the country, “gun control” is a waste of time!

Since we know that this can and will not happen, we need to go the other way. Let the good guys be able to defend themselves to the level of which the bad guys are armed.

MGTOW Man: Hate them back; it works for me.

The irony to all this is Sam Colt did more with pistols to bring equality between genders and classes that any other person in history. The Colt Peacemaker pistol was even advertised by Colt as the “equalizer”.

This was because Colt pistols were the first pistols that were easy to use. Easy to reload. Easy to maintain. Were reliable. And could be used by anyone. Before then, the strongest person in a fight usually won. After the Colt peacemaker, the person with the best aim won, regardless of their size.

This is the reason why feminists want to ban guys. “Rape culture” cannot exist within an armed population.

And that is how the feminists stay in power. Through making the women of this nation fearful and weak, while abusing and oppressing men as a scapegoats for all the problems in the world.

And an armed population is a population without fear.

I’m seeing it differently then you. I don’t see a link between guns and rape culture. They do have a common them though. They want no restrictions on their behavior, with guaranteed safety…and men are supposed to give it to them and take all the blame when it doesn’t happen.

    Ok. Then do it.

You are mistaking the useful idiots to those pulling their strings. Those that are controlling the useful idiots are using fear to do so. If the people were armed that fear would diminish and those pulling the strings would lose much of their powerbase.

when i first got into firearms years ago you could say it was the first red pill. i realised just how much bulls~~~ is spewed by the media and how alot of their fears are completely based on lies. it doesnt even occur to them banning things is only applicable to people who follow the rules. these last few days have been rage inducing to say the least.

There’s guns in Canada. You just can’t really use them for self defense without opening up a can of worms on yourself.

But, what about the death rate with knives in Canada? Japan has had a gun ban for decades but they have only of the high annual rates of murders by knives in the world.

Haters are going to hate. Killers are going to kill.

And given the BS politics in Canada, I won’t be surprised that many Canadians wished they had a gun.

I have a 22 rifle, and I do have a chance to own a glock 19 or 26 without having to register it, but I do have to pay for it. However, you cannot use guns in a self defense situation.

Same. I live in BC. and while you can own guns, self defense is a big no no.

In BC I can carry almost any knife regardless of the length on my person. but I do have to specify that it’s a tool and not a self defense weapon. Again the laws here are very vague, and sometimes even the cops don’t know the laws here.

Actions have consequences and consequences have prices. Cause and effect at work.
