This one calls for the removal of the NFL’s tax exemption status. Not a lot of signatures on it. But it’s relatively new.

mmediate suspension of NFL tax exempt status

This other one, while also new has many more signatures, but not anywhere remotely close to the 100,000 necessary for the White House to respond to it. But it’s early still.

END ALL TAXPAYER FUNDED SUBSIDIES TO THE NFL AND NBA

Just throwing these out there if any MGTOW want to sign these petitions, or promote them to friends.

The NFL switched from tax exempt to a “for profit” corporation last year. Morons are asking for something that’s already happened. At least the first petition.

Actually neither petition is going anywhere. What we should look for is petitions that deny tax-payer funds for stadiums. THAT would be big, but that is a local political issue not a federal one.

They could take away the military funding that goes for recruiting, the reason why we have the big flag and military people during the National Anthem. But given the response to taking a knee, I’d say it was money well spent.

Just let it go as it is. People are turning the games off. That will cost not only the NFL money, but also all the networks. That will get their attention.

I don’t care either way about the whole protest thing, but why the hell are governments funding professional sports, and considering the money they raise, why do they have tax exempt status? Ok, it is likely a 501(c)4 thing, which is why. But if they play by those rules, not much can be done, no matter how much you hate their politics.

Stop watching this millionaires battle billionaires thing anyhow. But individuals, the masses, likely have religious impulses, so they can’t.
