It’s rough over here in the Purple Mountains Majesty bro. Polar Vortex has people in frigid conditions to put it softly. It’s a warm 8 degrees Celcius in Dallas where I am (47F)

No problem here. It warmed all the way up to 14 F. I like cold weather. If feels so good when you get home and crank the heat up. I leave it at 60 when I’m at work just to keep the plumbing from freezing, then kick it up to 70 when I get home.

The forecast says it’s supposed to get up to 64 F this weekend. That’s a crazy temperature for the middle of winter. I’m going to take advantage of it and get back out to the shooting range for some much needed handgun practice.

I went to Whole Foods to buy my coffee. This coffee is so damn good dude. Makes Starbucks taste like Maxwell House.

The “Guatemala” and “Ethiopia” coffees (or wherever they come from, I don’t give a rat’s ass). They taste SO good, almost like a fruity IPA type of Beer! But that’s just the thing, Im not drinking alcohol, its a coffee!

This s~~~ is so good. I used to buy it $5 a cup at the damn Liberal infested GASH cafe down the street. But I swore off buying a cup at a time for New Years Resolution. This coffee aint cheap at Whole Foods, its $15 a bag but I reckon I can get at least 30 cups out of a bag so that is quite the savings.

Im obsessed with it like it’s premium marijuana or something. LOL. Its just damn good coffee!

We don’t usually get big temperature swings here in the UK. Do you notice a difference in point of impact with your rifle zeros? I just test ammunition in spring and autumn and it seems good all year round but I hear tales of temperature sensitivity from your side of the pond.

I don’t worry about it. Im a 200 pound ex-Marine. If I want someone dead, they’re going down — I don’t need a pee shooter. If someone tries to rob me, they better keep the barrel trained on me tight because I will slap it out of their hands and if I get the gun, they’re done.

But if someone has a real gun pointed at me: let me make a few points:

1. my wallet and it’s contents are not worth my life nor a trip to the ER with a bullet wound… just hand it over!

2. if they have me at gunpoint, I already lost the element of surprise so even if I had a firearm, they already have me.
