A movie about women conspiring to steal money from men? Sounds more like a documentary.

A remake of a remake. Hollywood has truly run out of ideas.

Don’t women do that already. Isn’t that called divorce.

It will be as good as the all land whale’s Ghost Busters.

All post wall chicks too, should resonate well with the
    35+ bitter female divorcee crowd.

Yet another film I’ll be swerving.

You would figure that with the GhostBusters failure, they would learn that all female leads in “action” type films don’t work.

In general, women don’t want to watch women in these sort of films and men don’t want to watch post-wall women in films (with very few exceptions), so it’s double-guaranteed fail.

    Next please…

And doesn’t learn its lessons, either.

I couldn’t stand the original Ocean’s movies. This will be all the more worse. Just another “bean” flick.

I hope that they took notes from Ghostbusters and decided not to lace it with dumbass gender politics.

So long as they avoid that pitfall, my guess is that it will be just another mediocre remake that will be forgotten about a year from release.

Nobody remembers the Evil Dead remake from a couple of years back. But the TV show featuring Bruce Campbell and it’s dark humor hit all the right spots.

    Gimmie some sugar, baby.

Lol. I’m with HectorCH. I would’ve thought that after Ghostc~~~ers came and went without achieving the success that they hoped for, they might decide not to go through with this one. Never mind, it’ll be s~~~. It’s just a shame that so much money has to be wasted on these idiotic movies before producers will finally get the hint that they have not tapped into a new cash cow.

Actually, I didn’t think that the Evil Dead remake was all that bad. I enjoyed it a lot more than I was expecting to. But the original is definitely better, as is the case with most remakes.

Let’s not forget that all of the 4 females, with perhaps the exception of Cate Blanchett. Are total whores, and had to do unimaginable acts to land starring roles.

If ever in doubt. Check out Stanley Kubrick’s “Eyes Wide Shut”. That’s a good primer for the stuff that happens behind the scenes in Hollywood. I like Sandra Bullock. But if I understand the rules correctly, there are no exceptions to the things actors and actresses have to subject themselves to sexually, to achieve fame and recognition at that level.

Lana Del Rey has a song titled, “F~~~ed My Way Up to the Top”. When asked if it is autobiographical? She gives a hazy answer. I give her credit for at least being honest about what got her to where she is today.

A clip from “Eyes Wide Shut”. This stuff is not fictional nor metaphorical. It is quite literal and has been confirmed by countless people within the industry.

I am not a big fan of Alex Jones. He seems to me like shill, an snake oil salesmen. Ramping up fear and selling on it. But, that aside….from time to time, he does hit the nail on the head. And in this interview, Oliver Stone’s son, goes into some of what takes place behind the scenes in Hollywood. Some interesting points.

So yeah, Ocean’s 8. Or whatever sequel they hatch. Pass.

It had both good and pad points. I think the biggest problem with the remake is that there will only ever be one Bruce Campbell.

He’s such an iconic figure from the franchise that it just wasn’t the same without him. I’m glad that it failed to muster enough interest to create a sequel because it paved the way for the TV show.
