For a fascinating historical ride on the carousel

Almost worth printing out, grabbing your highlighter, and noting every RP-informed flag.

I love how it all ends:

“I think a lot of women [today] will empathize with what Margaret went through,” she said. “When you think of a similar case today, and how the media covers it, nothing’s really changed.”

Perhaps I am just “too” cynical.
I note the not so underlying premise of her “victimhood” (despite the decision of playing the field, monkey branching, and decision making being solely hers) in this story line.
Certainly the end statement by the authoress reinforces the sentiment that nothing changes.
This is due to this character, and most women (and men) for that matter, not willing to be held accountable for their decisions and the outcome of said decisions.
She decided to try to swing through the trees and monkey branch while acting as a “party girl”, and ended up in a shrubbery.
    Her choices equals her consequences.

“the poor victim” pervades the entire story. I caught myself, more than once, stifling a sob…

    Her choices equals her consequences.

    I love a happy ending!

Poor little victim. What did that bad man do to her? Poor thing was so unhappy she even had resting bitch face on her wedding photos.

How dare they slut shame her just for being a slut.

There is a LARGE surge of women saying they are good women. Even throwing out that they have been married for 25 years etc.

And of course the “No we are NOT all like that”. Funny.. I never hear that from the Husbands. Just the filtered Mouthpiece of one side.

The reason I call Bulls~~~ is that if you really are in that kind of Relationship, if women ares selfish? Why would they care to help other women? Do they maybe get kicks out of it? I don’t know.

I also notice that Many of these dating coaches are Single. But tell others to get married. Or have been divorced. It all seems weird that something so plain sight in view is hard to see. But I guess there are some men that are just that way. And never will leave the plantation.

You are all alone. If you have been falsely accused of RAPE, DV, PLEASE let all men know about the people who did this. http://register-her.net/web/guest/home

I fail to see how her life is my problem. Or concern.

    Her choices equals her consequences.

    Consequences are female kryptonite.

And of course the “No we are NOT all like that”.

    ALL women say that.

Because ALL WOMEN ARE LIKE THAT.
