I dont know that much about Muhammad Ali but thought this was an interesting speech.

At 07:20 secs its interesting what he says about wife and kids
if you die and come back a year later and slip in your bedroom and SEE if your wife is by herself….you dont own your wife .. i divorced my wife… and my 4 children they call another man daddy now ..they dont see me no more … you dont own your children, you dont own your family

His views on God and Life seems to have parallels with those of christianity, hinduism etc i.e., “the existence of the soul”. (I understand he was muslim. Personally I am most interested in Christian, Taoist and Vedic texts but am not a member of any religion)

I most admire him for refusing to go to Nam’.

Of course the paradigm that existed back when he grew up does not exist to the extent it did back then, other than on the Religious front as it is Muslim countries that we keep f~~~ing with in the name of Israel, it does still exist in that context I suppose. I know I would not go fight any war of aggression fought by the U.S. of late, that’s for f~~~ing sure. If I were a Muslim? Ha, hell to the f~~~ing no. I basically feel the same way he does here, no Muslim ever did a thing to me, why should my money and my blood go to invading and f~~~ing with country after country that Israel wants f~~~ed with?

Same here brother. I’m not going to be the good goy and lose a limb or worse, my life, for a people who have no connection to us and have taken ever opportunity to pervert all the good things built by us and our forefathers. It’s bad enough they mooch off our taxes like welfare queens and you expect me to put my life on the line at the same time? Get the F~~~ out of here.

Only war that needs to be fought is here at home not overseas for the fake “chosen” ones.

Yes, but being a Great Boxer does not make you a great person.

Ali, was an exceptional Man. As THX pointed out, refusing to go to Vietnam and choosing Prison instead, was the most powerful protest against the War anybody could have possibly done. He was a Political Prisoner, and a great Intellect (as well as the best boxer). That was what really made him “The Greatest.”
