Any one else who tells me what I should or shouldnt do, can p~~~ off.
Simple.
Don’t hold your breath. I suggested that almost a year ago and was told it wasn’t necessary.
It wasn’t really possible since we didn’t start recoding “last login” as an easily calculable unix time stamp. But we recently changed it to a proper timestamp so that we COULD that using simple math.
Except it’s going to p~~~ a lot of members off. Paul Elam, for example. Would it be right to just delete his account because he hasn’t logged in in over a year? Or Barbarossa? Or Messenger? They are founding/important members in the MGTOW online community. Plato is the first poster. Vile Nord I remember being a REALLY important original forums contributor.
They should stay unless they request otherwise.
It’s their “mark”. They made their mark.Who cares if we p~~~ off Paul Elam? Has Paul Elam posted here? Why should he care if is account is removed? Paul Elam is just a person. Not a cult of personality. I can understand not removing accounts of people who haven’t posted in a while (they could come back), but no reason not to remove accounts with no posts at all. Lurkers don’t need accounts to view content. If they want to post, they can sign up. In fact, given that Tom Leykis distanced himself from MGTOW, get rid of his s~~~ too. He came here and all he did was kiss our ass and promote his streaming radio show. He offered nothing of value when he came here. All he did was waste everyone’s time and get their hopes up. Just like a woman.
Just because they “signed up” doesn’t mean they left their mark. They left their mark doing whatever it is they do. But whatever it is they do has nothing to do with this site. The website registration numbers are not important. It’s meaningless. What carries value is the PEOPLE who come to this site and CONTRIBUTE. The ones who extend the olive branch and tell their stories of the s~~~ they’ve been through, and contribute to the betterment of their fellow brothers like a beacon. If this site had only 2,000 accounts and all of them were active, it would be better than 250 active accounts with a 30,000 registered user database.
If it were just about the numbers, I could sign up with 10 different accounts tomorrow with 10 different emails, and different ip addresses and you would never be any wiser for it.

You could require an introductory post in all cases. You could limit posting rights for new members to certain forums for a certain period of time. You could prevent everyone but logged-in members from reading the forums. You could keep search engines from trawling the forums – not the site mind you, but the forums. You could purge the thousands of inactive members while keeping a few special cases mentioned. There are dozens of simple practices already used on tens of thousands of sites to fix the holes in the screen and cut down on the number of flies.
There are way less successful MGTOW sites that do all of this.
KM himself posted numerous times that even he got banned and punted from such a site for no apparent reason.
And that’s why he chose a different path.
And I post here for the non-logged-in lurkers to read. If this forum became a “closed user group”, I would be gone the same day!
We are here to help men and we need the forums in the search engine index so these men seeking help find us.
In July of 2018, this honey pot forum was sold out to an unidentified NPC sock puppet and troll organization. Most independent thinkers and writers migrated to other MGTOW forums as a result of the never-ending infighting and deliberate trouble starting caused by members who were given "carte blanche" by the admin to do whatever they want. Before my departure, I only left a few thousand cat pics here to comfort and ridicule the feminist owners who now run this place. Their background agenda is to make MGTOW look like a club of losers the public eye. And during the course of 2019, they actually managed to destroy almost all other MGTOW venues as well. Saving men who stumble across this site by accident seems worth the price of trolls.
I stumbled across this site at a very low point in my life… facing legal problems, in the middle of a divorce, loss of a very good job, and agonizing over the threat of losing custody of my children.
I read stuff here, and found YouTube channels about MGTOW from references here.
I’m very grateful for all of that, and I might have missed it if the site here had been shrouded in secrecy. We want the MGTOW philosophy to spread like wildfire, don’t we?

We are not here to “help men”. This is not Men Going the Collective Way. This is Men Going Their Own Way. Helping others is great, and certainly a noble thing to do. If anyone can say that, I can. Because I don’t make topics bitching and moaning about women and giving them attention, but instead make threads of content that DO focus on helping men. MGTOW is not about being a hospital. It’s about the individual doing whatever the f~~~ they want.
Too many people nowadays trying to fit us into some category and label us. It happens with society, and it’s happening with people here too. We are not a hive. This ain’t some Borg s~~~. We have commonalities, and common interests, but we are men going our OWN way. I care about my fellow brothers because that’s who I am, and because of the bonds I have forged. Not out some bound responsibility to be an emotional tampon.
The fact that anyone can view the content here serves multiple purposes.
1. Men who don’t have a grasp on what MGTOW is have a chance to learn without giving any details. Some people can be very apprehensive about that.

All fair points. Closing the door to the book of secrets doens’t help. But housekeeping needs to be done. If you were working on a project in your workshop, would you leave a mess laying around? Or would you pick up after yourself when you were done? This forum is the workshop. Occasionally it needs picking up after.

I see though their s~~~ and we play into their hands by improving security and with it: Cast out real members with what they triggered us to do.
Don’t behave like women: They see a tiny problem (some trolls) and then start a nuclear war (making the site a fortress and closed user group) to get rid of the trolls.
That is their intention: Chasing us into the light!
Don’t do them the favor of changing our course. That is what they want.
Take MGTOWHQ for instance: They are only visible to logged in members now…

Who still registers and jumps through hoops of a vetting procedure for the faint outlook to participate in a forum of unknown content and unknown topics?

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying everything is perfect; nothing ever is. My point was merely that I feel that making it so that only signed in members could read the forums would be a bad idea. If anyone really needs more privacy to discuss something, there are private messages and ZOOM sessions.

Your numbers are meaningless. You’re taking this position like it makes us infinitely better than every other MGTOW website. It doesn’t. Your numbers don’t match the content. So your logic fails. Big deal, we have almost 30k members! Big deal. Do they contribute? Most do not. So what exactly has making things easier done? If someone wants to see posts, and wants to contribute, they will sign up. Regardless of the site. That is FACT.
This current method has resulted in what? A few hundred active members? Can you factually tell me that when it comes to growing active members on this site that we grow it at any faster rate than any other website based solely on your position? You can’t. Because when you take into account growth of actual members who post, we grow at virtually the same rate as any other site requiring registration to post. We get loads of registrations, and a few per week or month pan out into actual posters. The only thing setting us apart from everyone else is, we come up first in the search results.
We are not here to “help men”. This is not Men Going the Collective Way. This is Men Going Their Own Way.
I have found my way long time ago, so I need not post here. But I know that my experiences are helpful to others.
And I know: More important to the newbies and lurkers than to the old proven MGTOW.
