(why the f~~~ are swear words censored now?)
I can’t f~~~ing believe it. My boss sent me on a course and the instructor is the most stereotypical feminist/sjw type I’ve ever seen in the wild.
As you can imagine, when I realized she was the instructor, my heart sank and a feeling of dread washed over me. The first two things she did were to say that the table arrangement was sexist because the men and women sat separately (of their own free choice) but then said that it was really because all the men were smelly. (note: i work with real smelly men in a factory workshop, these men were clean as a f~~~ing whistle; comparatively upper class).
This is only the first day of 3. Fortunately very little feminist diatribe has been uttered but neither has the subject matter of the course. Even the other men there were shocked at the lack of actual substance.
After about the first 2 hours of speaking she proclaimed “and that’s chapter one of the work-book complete!” I was kind of shocked because I thought she was doing an informal introduction to the course. But no. This is the actual course.
She brought up the fact that the male to female suicide rate is 9:1, men to women, and asked the room; Why? People gave generic answers; “stress” “economic issues” “hard to find a job” but you and I both know what the real answers are. I couldn’t answer. The futile argument that would ensue is not worth losing my job for.
I need to get this answer out somewhere though, and here is the only place I can.
Personally, I think it’s two fold; Firstly, men are more miserable now because the societal structures that evolved organically from our natural situations and tendencies, have been mostly destroyed, and the system that replaces them does not give us any structure or fulfillment of these natural requirements and has rendered us mostly disposable for all but labour.
Secondly, this disparity may simply prove the ineptitude of women. That they can’t even kill themselves properly. Maybe it just proves that men are better, more decisive and follow through more successfully with whatever they set their mind to. But as you know, this would challenge their beliefs, their narrative, and when you’re in as deep as that land whale is, admitting fault is virtually impossible.
Lastly I wanted to add a footnote; it’s her. She is the reason. She is perpetuating it. She is perpetrating it. By supporting this f~~~ed society, the system and living in the way she does.
Finally, This course costs £400 per person. That’s approximately £133 per person, per day. There were 10 people on this course. That’s £1330 a day, for what ended up being about 4 hours of what she thought was instruction but was more like hot air. (subtracting delays and the 2 hour!!! long lunch break) The instructor happened to mention that her schedule is booked up all year. I don’t know if she is freelance or employed on an hourly rate, but either way, in one day she is raking in almost what I get pain in a month (for hard graft and labour in a factory workshop) for providing a course with barely any substance and sitting around in a nice air conditioned conference centre with free catering.
Well, if you wanted an economic reason that we’re being driven over the edge, there’s one right there.
F~~~ing sickens me.
The only winning move is not to play. Best I just keep my head down, finish the course and tell my boss he could have wasted company money in better ways.
