I’m going to visit my grandmother!

The fact that it’s Women’s Equality Day is purely coincidence as I just happen to be traveling back home for the weekend to visit family and friends.

I must say that I’m going to enjoy my visit with my grandmother more than my visit with my mother. I won’t claim that my grandmother is NWALT but she’s most chill woman I’ve ever known. Never once in all my life have I seen her and my grandfather argue. What he says goes, no questions asked. She’s very, very traditional and thinks that women who aren’t have completely lost their minds. My grandparents have been married for 60 years; more rare than ever. Even if I could find one like her, though, just not worth the risk. What a shame.
