With Will Smith. It may be hold news, since it’s been out a while, but I just watched and, and was enjoyable.
Didn’t even know about it, til I saw the blu ray in the Walmart bin for 7.88.
If you have a son, may want to watch it together.
Know we all have our own tastes, but I think it’s a good movie.
It could have been better on some things, but overall, was worth my time.

Thanks for the tip. I liked I Robot with Will Smith in it.

Edit: (I had to look up this to get the spelling right.) The Pursuit of Happyness stars both Will and Jaden Smith. I thought it was particularly good in the way it showed what a man will go through for his family.

I wanted to go watch it at the movies. I thought, hey, it’s Will Smith. It’s gotta be good. But the little voice inside told me Not worth 10€. I rented it later for 1.50 and in my opinion it’s worth about that. I wonder how much they spent for the fxs. Even Smith’s performance couldn’t keep me interested.
I very much liked I, Robot, even if they didn’t stay true to Asimov’s vision. It’s a shame, too. His Robots series would make a great franchise.

I wouldn’t say it is as good as I, Robot but still decent. Probably would have been better without his son in it.

Yeah, I liked I Robot more as well, and agree you on that @untamed

I guess I considered it a “good” movie because of all the BS that wasn’t in it.
I suppose that is sad in it’s own right…really hate having to (lower?)my standards to find something recent that I consider okay.

I wish we could have great stories with great characters to go with these great effects we have now.
    Such a shame

I saw After Earth a little while after it was released. I was rooting for the monster to kill the kid.

Really enjoyed the Pursuit of Happyness. Had high hopes for After Earth as I am a huge of of M Night Shyamalan (in spite of everything). I found it well done in many parts, but fairly forgettable. The first of Night’s films I have no desire to see again.

IRL Will Smith is a nut and his children aren’t much better. Not sure if it’s scientology or some other quack pseudo-religion.

The Children of Doom... Doom's Children. They told my lord the way to the Mountain of Power. They told him to throw down his sword and return to the Earth... Ha! Time enough for the Earth in the grave.
