Advanced Hookery: Creating "Save Me" Situations

I had a thread up a few weeks ago about my buddy getting pursued by a large stalker. Well she’s at it again.

He’s been creating space hoping this would just go away on it’s own. He also told the neighbors across the street he’s interested in a different girl anyway. They disagreed and joined forces to try to get him attached to this broad.

She’s been busy creating situations for him to save her. The kind where any white night would obviously step in and help. Car breaks down in front of his house. Needs a ride to the thing everyone is going to tonight. A little too drunk to drive home, can she stay with him? Tries to be at the neighbors when he’s getting home from golf night.

My buddy is 100% aware of what’s going on thanks to me, but he won’t put her down hard to end this charade. He’s trying to nice his way out of it. I told him she’s going to keep putting him in positions to have to say no, or she’ll keep inching her way in. Personally I’d just tell her to move the f~~~ on and lose my number. But he’s too much of a nice person.

Right, she wants him to be a nice guy and help her and she gets the hook in. Except that she doesn’t really want a nice guy because they are boring. She just wants nothing but everything really sometimes but always but not really.

Women want what they can’t have. The more he rejects her, the more she wants him. Which isn’t his problem except that she will continue to pursue him and make it his problem.

There’s nothing worse than someone that puts you in a game you don’t want to play.

Tell him to ask her about her job. Ask how much money she makes. How much has she saved for retirement? How much does she owe on her car? On her house? Tell him to try to borrow money from her.
