    An male alcoholic who assaults his spouse, on the other hand, is just a drunken wife beater. No excuses for him.

    Blaming alcohol for your actions is like blaming a gun for murder. I have never hit anyone while intoxicated. I don’t believe I’ve ever even been angry while under the influence.
