About 90% of homeless are male.

In 2011, the housing charity Crisis found that 84% of the homeless were male. The latest CHAIN figures suggest that 9 out of 10 people homeless are male.

So we know that about 9 out of 10 homeless are male. What about government assistance?

According to Mankind Initiative in UK safe houses, there are 33 spaces dedicated to male victims of domestic violence (of which 18 are for gay males only), compared to around 4,000 spaces reserved for females.

What gets me is not that women are entitled, but that they act like they deserve to be treated better than men.

Let’s see: 33 out of 4000 is less than one percent. It shows us just how much society values men and where men figure in the political scheme of things.

The last homeless man I spoke to was homeless voluntarily. He had a job parking cars for events and such, which paid for food. He preferred to live on the streets then work for an apartment, house, etc and have to deal with his family.

Not saying all homeless are like that, but I cannot see a woman voluntarily opting for homelessness. She would not want to be free of a society like this guy.

The 10% that are women were caught on their way to the department of human services for free food, housing, heating, medical, and dental.

It pays to be a woman on either side of societies coin.

And the man??? He gets both ends of the shaft!

A large amount of those males are veterans, maybe.

But I don’t know how to feel about this. Some people might have f~~~ed over themselves; other might have been f~~~ed over by others.

Either way, the position of man is downfalling.
