There are many warnings MGTOW can give that a relevant all around the world. This story is from Aus.
Its a long story which includes me knowing this stupid bitch since she was 4. I f~~~ed her a few times when we were adults. Anyway she tells me she’s f~~~ing some ‘loser’. Then 2 years later she’s pregnant to this same guy. She does the fleeing act. He and the courts track her down and to the fathers credit he gets access. All through this she is being funded by ‘legal aid’. A free service if you have no assets. If you have no assets, then you have no obligation even if you win a million dollars the day after its settled. If you have a house, then they suck the money out of this asset to be paid back when you die or if you sell the house. The point of this story?
The next poor f~~~er married this bitch. Before they married, she was getting free legal aid assisting her in her attempts to alienate her daughter from her father. Now that she has married this poor f~~~ who owns his house is now liable for her legal bills as the c~~~ continues to not realise that children need to know and spend significant time with their real father. Legal aid are sucking this next poor bastards house away in legal fees. Its not even his kid. Oh the poor f~~~er. Take heed my fellow friends who may be standing on the brink of MGTOW or not.

As a person who has used legal aid, allow me to clarify how it works. When a person goes to a law firm they can go and file for ‘Legal aid’ if they believe they can’t afford a lawyer. The forms are filled out and the applicant must include bank statements and write down what other assets they own including the value of said assets. The Legal Services Commission determines whether or not the applicant is entitled to ‘Legal aid’ and sends a response to confirm this. There is a very finite amount of funds available for the use of a lawyer. I’m not sure how much exactly this is. The applicant now must make a mandatory contribution to their lawyer based on their assets and this amount is stated in the response from the LSC. Once the payment has been made the applicant can then employ the services of the lawyer. There is no further payment required.

Only one of the two partners will be able to successfully claim legal aid and it goes to the person with the least assets. In the case you presented with the man whom the woman married, chances are she would have been rejected for legal aid as she a) used up all the finite funds for legal services and b) became ineligible due to owning too many assets after she became married. So to be lucid, the ‘loser’ is probably paying for legal fees, not legal aid.

Thanks to ‘Legal aid’ I get to see my son and not be bankrupt.

If you have a house, then they suck the money out of this asset to be paid back when you die or if you sell the house.

I was reading an LSC pamphlet and it had this to say (verbatim)

‘If you own real estate and your legal costs (including costs for a family conference) exceed $2200, the Legal Services Commission will register a charge over the property and require repayment of the amount of your legal costs, plus a contribution of one half of the chairperson costs, when the property is sold or if you refinance.’

So in the example case given above the dude would only have to pay for legal aid/ have a charge on their house if they are eligible to claim it if they earn under a certain amount per month. The costs of legal aid are much cheaper than getting a lawyer without it, yet it is cheaper still to not get involved with single mothers.

Thanks for the thread Pfree, hopefully someone can benefit from this thread.
