A Test I Can't Stand

There’s something I was thinking about recently that happened to me not too long ago.

Had two chicks into me. Or, so they claimed.

Social media REALLY brought it out of them, though. I flirted with both of them pretty openly, because it was admittedly fun.

However, when I did that, BOTH of them removed me from their friends list and said “JUST GO BE WITH THE OTHER GIRL.” At the same exact time. Was hilarious! When I’d start showing one or the other more interest though, then they’d either shrug me off, dismiss me, or call me “thirsty.” I’m not even kidding.

They only wanted me when I’d show interest in the other girl…but then barely pretended I existed (while openly talking to other OBVIOUSLY actual thirsty men) when I’d give them attention.

This was all in the past. Just a funny game they’d play that made me think back on them. I never saw them as games before and I always saw it as my fault somehow. I realize now they were doing these things because they wanted merely my attention and nothing more while they’d try to find the guy they actually wanted to screw.

I rarely touch social media and much more rarely touch a woman anymore because of these very games.

Social media isn’t really the issue, it’s just women.

Probably about 15 years ago now, I was at a happy hour with some coworkers. One of my coworkers brought friends along and there was 1 woman I thought was rather attractive, so I went for it. I was relatively obvious, and she was friendly in return. I gave up after a while. Later I ended up talking with her roommate that was also there. She was attractive too, the conversation was better, and she ended up giving me her number. Later on, I hear the girls were out back arguing with each other because 1st girl actually wanted me but was playing hard to get and she was mad 2nd girl swooped in. Stupid games.

Alternatively, there have been situations where me and a buddy (or buddies) have been into the same girl. What did we do? We either decided who gets first crack at it or agree it’s going to be every man for himself with no hard feelings. Done.

Ok. Then do it.
