I feel like leadership is something that is present in almost all work, so I wanted to hear some thoughts. I’m working on a group assignment due tomorrow at Uni with three girls. I am the sole male in the group. From day 1, the Girls have followed my lead, agreed with my ideas and I have been the main organiser of the group, making sure everyone was fine with what they were doing. I suppose I am a leader, but I treat it with a great reluctance. Don’t get me wrong, having people agree with me all the time is a good feeling, but, for some reason, it doesn’t feel right. Has anyone else had this feeling of preferring to be in the background, but was instead treated as a leader of the group?

Yes I have in the past, mainly in high school there is no advice there it is all up to you you can become the leader, take the risks and go for it or concede the leader position to someone else it is up to what you feel you can, should or want to do.

Yes, the reluctant leader, you feel important and good about being in command, but at the same time you don’t want it to go to your head and you don’t like telling people what to do and you don’t want them to think it’s going to your head.

    Yes, I know that feeling.

You can't reason with unreasonable, there; women, figured out, there is nothing to reason.

Megatoad you hit the nail on the head. It’s just a strange feeling, I’m used to having younger boys who look up to me, but I guess I was expecting the girls in my group to kind of side together and want to do something else?

Be a leader then, maybe those girls want a leader?

Is it possible that they’re following your lead because it saves them having to think for themselves? I get that with any group activity a ‘leader’ will emerge, but as we MGTOW are all too aware, women like a free ride. On the other hand, within their comfort zone, they generally like to domineer and assume control. Which makes me slightly suspicious.

Tread carefully my brother, don’t allow yourself to be put in a position where you can be blamed for their failure.

I have all but accepted the position of being a leader, with the presentation tomorrow, the weight is soon to be lifted. I have doubts regarding failure, I’ve worked hard on this and ensured that the presentation will be up to a good standard. But thank you for your council and concern.

Hey BigTl, be careful the sheep girls don’t ‘allow’ you to do all the hard work of being the leader/organiser, and then take all the reward and praise (for having such a valuable commodity – their vaginas), because if there is any negative points about your project, you can be dead certain they will collectively point the finger of blame toward you!

I assume your grade depends on this project; therefore, it makes good sense to ensure competent leadership. Give the team members their say. Consider their inputs. Make the best possible decision as you see it. Get the class over with.

I’d love an update after the project is completed in regards to how the three females handled things. Did they try to take credit? Was everyone awarded the same grade? Keep us updated!

I divided the Work Equally among us, therefore, people took credit for the work that they did. We presented yesterday and were met with a great deal of positive comments both from our peer markers and our tutor. I haven’t gotten a mark back yet, but it’s definitely looking positive. My tutor said that for the first group presenting, we definitely set a good bar
