Not exactly computer games, but if falls into the general atmosphere.  It’s a redpill anime series.  Surprising, since it came from a rather bluepill country.

It starts in a literal version of Plato’s cave, which escalates into fighting with giant robots powered by manliness.  Lots of senseless fighting happens, and at the end the protagonist goes MGTOW.

The protagonist, at the beginning and climax of the series.

    Self-confidence.

    Here’s a few quotes:

    Advocating for masculine toughness.

It is rather over the top, but fun to watch due to the sheer absurdity of it all.  Especially when the robots are so large they throw galaxies at each other.

Unfortunately you have to wade through a lot of blue pill crap to find anything decent in anime or manga. This is one of the main reasons why I lost interest in both.

The Children of Doom... Doom's Children. They told my lord the way to the Mountain of Power. They told him to throw down his sword and return to the Earth... Ha! Time enough for the Earth in the grave.

A great manly anime is def “jojo’s bizarre adventure”

I am a pretty big fan of Anime, and there is definitely alot of s~~~ shows coming out currently. However, I find JoJo to be a good MGTOW type show, the men are manly and independent and know how to avoid the stupid things in life. The few characters who do get married and so on (its a show that spans multiple generations of protagonist) always end up in a rut because of it though.

JoJo is another one of those over the top shows like TTGL, it makes fun of alot of stereotypes of the shounen genre as-well (long winded attack explanations and so on).

Great watch for anyone looking for a show about manly men doing manly things.

    Dangit, knew I forgot something.

I ended up dropping it for some reason.  An IRL friend recommends it, so I’ll give it another go.  I enjoy the cg for season 1’s opening.

Anyone watch “Tokyo Ghoul”?  The protagonist ends up becoming a great example of PTSD after season 1.  If you ignore the crazy superpowers, its like a gangwar show.  Could say the protagonist (kaneki ken) swallows the red pill.

I tried to watch jojo’s adventure but it was just too dark for me from the start. I mean I don’t mind a good villain but he had no like real reason other than just wanting to be evil . And that scene where he burns the dog alive and the dog jumps out in flames out of the furnace really put me off.

Though a manly anime in my oppinion is Dragon Ball Z. I recently watched Dragon Ball kai and man it is good. It just got rid of all the useless filler and all on battles which are awesome.

Methinks JoJo is parodying masculinity by amplifying it to ridiculous extremes, including the villain’s motive.  By portraying masculinity as ridiculous, it will discourage young men from aspiring to be masculine.
I’ve never watched more that a few episodes of Dragon Ball Z.  Seems like I have less and less free time as I get older.  I mean, I watched a solid month’s worth of anime in 2 years.  For the past 3 years, I’ve probably watched maybe a dozen 24-episode series…

One-punch man is my favorite manga.I also recommend Vagabond, i don’t know if it can be labeled as mgtow friendly cause i haven’t finished it yet, but the main protagonist is pretty mgtow for now.

Has anyone else watched Armitage III? it’s about a group of mostly female androids, created on a colonized mars, that can give birth. I think you all will love the last bit especially.

Hmm, I’d say Dragon ball has the better MGTOW message compared to DBZ. In Dragon ball, Goku is literally just traveling, and doing what he loves. He just pursues what he likes, wandering the globe, and bettering himself. Although it starts off with him being tricked by a girl into being her body guard, then later in the plot he ends up accidentally agreeing to marry a girl, she basically said when she gets older her father would let him take her hand in marriage, he thought she was referring to some kind of food, so he agreed.

Other than that I’d say it’s good. As for DBZ, the fact Goku generally runs off leaving his wife behind to train his sons in later years, I’ll say it’s also a good MGTOW manga. Also definitely going to try JOJO, and Gurren.
