I’ve seen a couple of threads recently about your buddies that are thinking of settling down. For some reason this morning I had an epiphany about that statement that I wanted to share. Maybe it will give a brother a red pill to pass out to their friends.

Okay, here we go. People use the phrase “settle down” to mean nesting. That you’re done sowing your wild oats, done partying, ready to chose someone to spend your life with. More like slow down than settle down. But, just look at it, it’s right in front of your face. She is SETTLING for you! You’re not her knight in shining armor, you’re just GOOD ENOUGH. Good enough that she will SETTLE for you. In her mind, she’s lowered her bar from 6 foot, 6 figures, and 6 pack to YOU! She’s f~~~ing telling you that you’re just barely good enough for her to settle for.

As if that weren’t a bitter enough pill to swallow, she’s also telling you that she’s settling DOWN! You aren’t really good enough for her. She’s better than you in her mind. And, therefore, you should worship the ground she walks on for all eternity!! Don’t you ever go against her you ungrateful dick, she SETTLED DOWN for you. You think you’re getting a partner, an equal, and she’s telling you that you aren’t. She’s the Chairman of the Board and you sweep the floors.

When she tells you she’s settling down, she means it. You are being told from the beginning that you aren’t good enough. All you have to do is LISTEN!!

Actually I have a differet take on it.

Women want to settle down means securing a beta wallet for dwindling down to zero sex.

Hypergamy, women pick a better looking man that is smarter than the and has more potential than them. The hamster will never let them admit this to the man they pick though. They do not settle down, hypergamy always has women settling up.

MEN are the ones then, by hypergamy, that settle down, and almost none realize it because everyone tells them they got someone better than they are. Men are the ones told to settle, down. And hypergamy means most men actually do settle, down. Women pick men to take care of them, not to take care of the man. That means a man superior to her in earning and intelligence and usually, looks. To have cute kids.

Women want everything, but want responsibility and accountability for nothing.
