After a week of messaging and talking on the phone, we met at a local coffee shop. I opened the door and saw her sitting there, a book in-hand as a sort of security blanket. She was a petite, doe-eyed waif of a thing. An enchanting beast if ever there was one. I saw her and said her name, to which she replied, in the most coy and endearing manner, “Yes.”

She clutched her book to her ample chest and looked at me expectantly, as if to say, “I’ve done my part, I’m adorable, you are smitten, so engage me!” We talked of Neietzsche, Kafka and Borowski. Our second date was more of the same, an amplification of the first date. The third date, however, — a hike into my beloved canyon — sealed the deal, I was in love. And not just any love; it was a kind of I will die for you love.

And yet, a year later, after I had quit my dream job and moved in with her, she was smashing her fists against the side of her head at three in the morning, in yet another 24-hour, bi-polar, narcissistic, existential crisis, that left me questioning my own sanity and place in the world.

I’ve written this cautionary tale as a warning to my MGTOW brothers who still date. Be careful out there.

    That is all.

    Hominid out.

Just be thankful you never married her and had children with her. If you had done that you could have kissed goodbye to all of your money and would have to interact with her forever.

When I look back on my divorce, I honestly think it would have been easier to cope with if she had died instead. I lost everything I had ever worked for and still have to pay for the next 9 years as well as having my self esteem destroyed by finding out she was f~~~ing other men behind my back. As we have two children I still have to interact with the person who betrayed me and took everything I had away from me.

My advice would be to move out and have nothing more to do with her.

For women, everything eventually boils down to Alpha Fucks, Beta Bucks.

I am thankful every single day that I did not marry this succubus.

That was three and one half years ago, and I’ve not dated since. What I was trying to highlight in that post is a Before & After snapshot to serve as a warning to other men who still date. We may think we are only pumping and dumping, but sometimes they are so good at sucking you into their world that we make ourselves vulnerable to their wiles. Like I said, it’s a cautionary tale.

bi-polar, narcissistic, existential crisis, that left me questioning my own sanity and place in the world

In the updated version of DSM they should include in simple terms:

If a c~~~ appears innocent, harmless princess, with fragility that activates your provider instincts without knowing why – she is an attention-seeking poisonous spider that will trap you with a web of lies so intricate you will only have faint recollections of a life lived without such deception.

It is called a narcissistic bitch.

    Stay clear. MGTOW or not.

Thank God you escaped this harpy with your mind and wallet intact. I hate to say it but it is true: this type of woman knows exactly what she is and gets off manipulating and ultimately destroying the male target. Its worse than psychosis—its just plain evil to derive pleasure from harming another person. I don’t recall where I heard this but someone once said that sometimes evil wears a pleasing face.

I learn, what you just wrote is the perfect addendum to what I just wrote, and is exactly the kind of follow-up I was hoping for.

Peter, your point is another factor I’d like to draw attention to: the fact that they know what they are doing. She had been in this exact same situation before, where she is trying to find a man to bring stability to her chaotic life. I, however, had never encountered such a beast before, and was totally unaware of the chaos that lay ahead of me.

Sorry, my I pad doesn’t let me “cut out” quotes. Fascinating observation! Looking for a “real man” to set her straight, yet always having the excuse ” no man will control me”. It’s like shopping for a therapist, or telling you to choose the food tonight.

When you find yourself in the majority, it's time to reflect.

The women I met on P.O.F. were bad news. .
Either fat , drunks or liars. .I met every nut job in an hour radius of me.
Got laid a few times and regretted it.
They got all “clingy” once you bone them..
And they did the same thing you described. .morph into psychopaths. .no more. .game over!
    Game Over! !!

I’ve found that women are more violent than men.
A man may be violent in his youth – he lashes out – but then another man hits back.
This could be sports or fists.
You punch, you better be able to take a punch.
Women have no experience like this. They go violently nuts and expect no repercussions.

The fact that she knew who these guys were, let alone could discuss, them should have been a giant f~~~ing red flag.

Hitman, someday, when I have the ambition, I want to post a snapshot of the women I dated from POF.

I dated the sexy ones on POF, not landwhales. That does not mean my experiences were anything less than chaotic. I’m not MGTOW because I can’t get laid by beautiful women, I’m MGTOW because of the exact opposite.

They’ve been trained from birth that no one is allowed to hit them back without going to jail so what stops them?

Three months or three thousand miles, rain or shine, good or bad. Get in, get out.

I call this the banana theory. The first bit eof a banana can be a bit crap, depending on how successful you are at peeling bananas, but the second and third bites are almost always the best. By the fourth bite, though, you’re in bruise and string territory.

Stop at the third bite. Toss the rest and move on to the next one.

This sounds strangely familiar, starting with coy attitude and later unleashing furious rage once the spiderweb was placed.

Thanks for sharing Hominid. I experienced similar things with girls I met through match.com. Fortunately their craziness showed up on average after 3-6 months. I dodged several bullets over the past 5 years. Funny how so many of us on here have very similar stories regarding women…maybe MGTOW is onto something…lol.

Simple rule, on those parasites we call women:

Look at things of what they are, not what you want them to be.

I think you’re right, 3-6 months before they can’t contain the crazy is about right for the ones that are good at hiding it. But for the rest, the crazy is so close to the surface you can see it boiling under their skin.
