A Model for Feminist Entertainment (Latest on Ghostbusters Remake)

A year ago, when it was announced that the Ghostbusters remake was going to have a all female main cast, many of us voiced concerns about doing a genderflip on source material that was originally a movie about male geeks.

The response by those defending the Ghostbusters remake was to accuse all their detractors of being bigots.

Normally, when a production crew of a remake finds out that they have upset some of the people that belong to the legacy costumer base of the franchise presented, they do something to appease this fanbase.

But, not these feminists behind the Ghostbusters remake. The feminists literally doubled and pour on the gasoline of bile and hatred against those questioning them on the fires of questions.

Since then, not much has changed on this matter.

Now, those that are defending the Ghostbusters remake have made a song specifically to attack those that question the remake film: http://spinoff.comicbookresources.com/2016/06/18/ghostbusters-stars-taunt-internet-trolls-with-their-cover-of-iconic-theme-song/

So, why would the feminists do this? It is likely the movie is bad, they know it, and they are creating this much hatred as an excused for likely how bad the movie will sell, or lack there of, when the film comes to theaters. So, the feminists can blame bigotry for people not paying to see a bad movie.

Though, if the remake movie is a success, feminists will claim all the credit. State that men are not needed for a successful movie, and solidify a misandry business model that aims to make money by insulting men. both in films and in advertising. Thus, making us men deal with worse sexism in society.

Fighting with feminists is like playing tennis with a cripple. If you win, you beat a cripple. If you lose, you got beat by a cripple.

The only possible solution is to not play. Give them all the rope they want and if they choose to hang themselves with it, so be it.

Exactly. Only with feminists one is dealing with emotional cripples.

I would like an all man sex in the city.

4 guys pump and dump their way through NYC, then go to a bar and talk about MGTOW and sports.

Love is just alimony waiting to happen. Visit mgtow.com.

That is not as far as stretch as you may think. The Sex in the City series is a reported to have written by homosexual men.

The title could be “Bitch Hunter” after the 30 Rock series joke.

30 Rock series is a deconstruction of NYC third wave feminism, while being a reconstruction of the classic NYC executive.

Tina Fey is one of the best writers of the last decade. She was willing to go places no one else would. While the terminology was a bit different. She had her series (30 Rock) cover almost all the topics we discuss here. And in many cases she has women, including the character she played, be the brunt of being of those topics, usually as jokes.

I thought Tina Fey was a rabid feminist?

She likely is. But, that 30 Rock series is more anti-feminist than one would expect. One episode of season six was about single motherhood, with the episode being titled, “Murphy Brown Lied To Us.” And that episode pointed out how Murphy Brown was wrong.
