A MGTOW evening

My roommate and I got home from work at roughly the same time tonight. He is in his 20s, I am in my 30s. Without any provocation from me, he mentioned how there are no good women out there. He is a good-looking, smart guy who is miles ahead by understanding this without forcing himself through years of marriage first. He mentioned how many times he has been asked “what he wanted” by various girls he had been out with a few times, and he has learned there is no good answer to that question. Even the one time he said he wanted “to be your boyfriend,” she broke up with him because he asked if that was ok with her. He was staying in tonight because the college student union where he usually goes now has a female server who has a thing for him, and he didn’t want the attention.

I mentioned how I took my second job to fill time in my schedule that had been previously spent going out on the town, and that it was the right decision. It also came up that I was recently promoted, and was invited to apply for assistant manager, but declined due to other conflicting priorities. Also that a girl we knew won’t be coming around anymore since she lost her mind and started verbally attacking me unprovoked.

We then sat in near silence except for opera music on low volume, as he studied intensely for an upcoming exam, while I wrote down notes about planning my future, and made a salad. It was pretty normal. And pretty great.

Edit: While this was going on, a girl I’m connected to on facebook posted “pros about dating me: you’ll be the cute one. Cons: holy S~~~ where do I begin”

She feels entitled to a guy who looks better than her. In other words, he brings good looks to the table. She does not.

There’s a great answer to that question.

She now has to qualify herself to him. Not the other way around.

Her hamster will spin for months wondering why he doesn’t consider her the “woman of integrity” or why he doesn’t consider her attractive.
