Bob Holly, probably the most manly, but most underrated wrestler of all time because he is a man who lived by example. Even a guy like him got the short end of the stick in life when it came to women, but at least he had a sort of happy ending in the end since he is still close to his only daughter today. This book literally has a lot of stuff in what it takes to be a man as well as how hard it is like to break into the wrestling business, no mater how competent you are compared to everyone else you work with.

I will not tell you guys everything I learned, but there is this one golden male rule that I did learn that I will share with you all that has stuck with me to this day. Bob Holly pointed out of this one relationship he knew of a guy with his wife. The wife cheated on him, but did you know what that guy did? That same husband tolerated it. Just because of it, everyone around the husband lost all respect for him and even went as far as to abandon him at such a bad time in his life because of how much of a pussy he really was in tolerating it all. If he would of at least stood his ground and put his foot down, instead of living a life of continued sameness at least short term, at least the guys around him would not have abandoned him the way they did and would actually respect this guy more, because at least he would earn their respect in not tolerating sh*t like that from the wife that he has.

So there you have it, the single biggest thing I learned from this book is that if you do not tolerate the sh*t that people do to you, you will get a lot more respect from everyone else in the long run to the point that it would actually help you more long term than short term. I would like to add that I do not think that I would of abandoned the guy the way everyone else did for him if I really knew the guy who got cheated on personally, but this looks like it seems to be the norm according to Bob Holly himself.
