To think that this man turned around to the person that murdered him and thanked him was shocking to find out after studying hes personal history, This quote is even more shocking when you KNOW how westerners feel about Indian people and their culture.
Whenever i read their writings even the holy ones i am impress every single time, the minds of the Rishis and others sages that pushed early Hindu philosophy.
Not a fan of Gandhi. He brought religion into politics and was the reason behind the partition of India, as well as the bloodshed that happened during and after. He was a complete fool.

Yeah i had a dentist from Pakistan in D.R. that told me why he hated Gandhi, The other dentist then brought a book about Gandhi into the dentist office, he wasn’t thrilled but we all cooked up a bit of humor about it.
Even he had a good laugh at the end of the day as he was putting my Braces on.
He charged up the masses using religion. Religion always works when the majority of your population are illiterate. One of those religious zealots (from his own religion) actually ended up assassinating Gandhi. You reap what you sow.
Anonymous42Hundu is my 2nd religion, to satisfy my atheist side!
Yes a lot of people leave out all the negative stuff about him, deliberately so.
Women want everything, but want responsibility and accountability for nothing.

This made me laugh for real. Hell, there may be no god, there may be one God, there May be 1000 gods.
What difference does it make what these mere mortals believe. One mans hero is another mans tyrant.
If women ran the world = It would become the shithole you are seeing.
I have read his biography and his autobiography (memoirs). He led the Indian people to revolt and remove their british rulers through the use of non-violence. However, when Britian was fighting Hitler he supported Britian and the Allied war effort. He was a great man.

Not so – he tried to prevent partition. Partition was the work of Islamist fanatics and opportunistic politicians who wanted to carve out a fiefdom of their own.
Ghandi didn’t really understand what he was dealing with.
