    This concerns money.

    More importantly this concerns recompense.

I am an extremely fit 41 year old. I have always been in excellent physical shape. I am the walker, runner, up-the-ladderer, lift this, move that, strain, flex, get bruised, bleed, be physically abused for the love of mankind kinda guy.

I am tired of being unappreciated for the joules of energy I release for the benefits of others. John Galt’s speech explains my situation well.

I am sure it explains many of yours.

Stay strong gentlemen. We need a better system of recompense other than fiat currencies that can be manipulated at some prick’s whim. His whim is beyond your personal control. It is beyond mine. If you and I are equal, why does “he” have any control at all?

    Smoke and mirrors.

I certainly appreciate the benefits you and millions of our brothers create everyday—and largely you do so anonymously and without notice. Take any single cathedral, bridge span, car, plane, road, building, dam etc. and you you name any one person responsible for these creations? No. Such is our lot.

Dude! I absolutely love that speech; this one, and the one from Francisco D’Anconia on the meaning of money: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u-T0ey0IKDA

    For Mr. Pistol Pete.

Mr. Veritech Ace, thanks for your comments. I’ve read the novel almost a dozen times. D’Anconia is an excellent example of capitalism at it’s best.

FIAT money is simple enslavement. It gives a magical power to the few, most of whom are already wealthy, to lend something they did not have to produce, nor do they have, and then to make money from it.

That is slavery. If it were not, then why can I not lend something I don’t have and profit from it? Oh, that’s right, I don’t have the millions to set up a bank to get in the slave game.

Interesting part in the video above where Ayn says it is not in the best interests of women to want to “rule” men. Women in the audience gasp that one of their sisters would suggest such a thing. Very telling of female nature.
