Yes Roydal, the grapes get taken from the tree

Grapes come from vines. They are pruned back every year in winter to the basic stump. Then in spring the vines grow rapidly and are guided along wires to support them. Then they are watered at appropriate times. When the grapes are at the correct internal sugar level they are pick by hand or machine. The ones picked by hand are table grapes, The ones picked by machine are grapes used in the wine making process.
