Most of the people, in the IT team I’m working with, know that I’m a widower going on just 2 years now. So of course everybody thinks the best way to “cure” me, is to set me up with someone.

Just recently one of the more senior guys tells me of a woman who is “interested” in me. Being the stay at home and online type, I only have a handful of women that I come into contact with (e.g. Work related, activity groups, wives of friends) and I know none of them are available. Especially when you get into your 40’s, since the decent ones are married by this stage.

Anyway, this women was one that my co-worker meets at a “dance class”, that she attends alone (Red Flag 1). He’s in his early 50’s, so I’m guessing she’s around that age (Red Flag 2). I get a business card and do my Catfish research. Not that I need to disprove her identity, but mostly out of habit… you can thank those cesspool of humanity websites (OKC, PoFFF, Badoo, etc.) for that.

So up pops Facebook, a goldmine for social media detective work and…

Red Flag 3: Image was of someone that hit the wall so hard in her late 30’s, she aged 20 years. I was told she was “around” my age… yea that and add like 15 years. Damn… she looks like my grandmother before she passed.

Red Flag 4, 5, 6, 7, 8: Her timeline read something to the effect of,

Status: Single
Timeline: 2014 Engaged.
2012 In a Relationship.
2008 In a Relationship.
2006 In a Relationship.
2002 In a Relationship.
1994 Started her own business.

OK, 4 relationships (which I found out to different men) then being engaged (couldn’t find the FB account to that guy, appears deleted) and now a few years on she’s single.

Rest of her social media is limited to non-existent, so I can’t get an impression of her personality. However I have enough red flags to not walk… RUN away from this one.

I’m also a widower and have experienced a tendency of female colleagues to either hit on me after a year has passed or to give sympathetic encouragement that “I’ll probably meet the right woman when I least expect it”.

I now tell them that every woman who’s shown interest in me on POF is either too old, too fat, or a Gold Digger. They don’t even argue.

Her history is the same as most of the histories of the post wall single mothers I had on Facebook.

I know exactly what these post wall single mother “Relationships” means on Facebook because most are in this town.
They meet men and throw vag at them, and the men keep f~~~ing them till the woman tries to nail them down.
At any stage, when the man escapes, they tear his character to pieces, usually after building up their character to all around them during the “relationship”

Despite everyone knowing exactly what these entitled, irresponsible narcissists are like, people still seem to think I’d be better off stuck in the same house as them.

You gotta take into account…for every “relationship” these women have they probably had another half dozen guys at least they tried the same thing with who just pumped and dumped them for a while then walked away.

Everyday I see post wall divorcees around town checking me out. It would be so easy to pump and dump them if I wanted and suspect for you guys as well. However I’m talking about the ones in their 30’s who still have some semblance of looks and are not fat. Anything 40s and above I wouldn’t f~~~ing touch with 1000 FT pole. 20’s Chicks seem like more work and drama than it would be worth to f~~~ them. Sugarbaby arrangements or college chick escorts might be the only sane option.

I don’t think I’d go completely monk as I like pussy just like I like good food now and then and life is short so we should enjoy some simple pleasures. Simple and uncomplicated being the operative word. That means AVOID a real relationship and any unnecessary contact with women..dinner, drinks and bedroom..fine.

Be professional be polite but always have a plan to kill everyone you meet.

Social media is a double-edged sword for women, on one hand, it gives them loads of validation, on the other hand, it provide us with a means of weeding out the dodgier ones via research into their histories, if only there was an app that will use algorithms to instantly identify women with a lot of red flags just by typing in a name or identifying her via photo-capture.
