There are only 2 things to say to any feminist who cries patriarchy.

1- Equality under law.

2- Equality of opportunity.

(women have both of these in the west)

Equality under law is whether you are treated the same by the court system and in the western world we know that women have more rights than men. Men get longer jail sentences for the same crime than women. Corrupt family court system that favors women over men and the draft laws etc.

Equality of opportunity is where anyone can do any job (career) or anything they choose as long as they are good enough and put the work in. Women tend to mistake equality of opportunity with equality of outcome.

Equality of outcome is when everyone should get the same regardless of effort. (too many men in a certain job role so we need affirmative action and female only shortlists)

Women refer to the pay gap or glass ceiling or that they cannot get engineering jobs etc because they confuse the equality of opportunity with the equality of outcome. It is not the patriarchy that stops women progressing it is themselves and the choices they make.

So when they start their bitching just ask them to prove they don’t have equality under law and equality of opportunity. You may be waiting a long time.
